AVOID LASTMINUTE.COM!! Absolutely appalling experience. Booked flight from Birmingham to Berlin with a 5* hotel for 6 nights on the website. Was duly informed that the booking was being processed and we would get a confirmation email. booked a Flight & Hotel package through Lastminute.com. Lastminute.com cancelled my flights, offered no alternative and left me liable for a hotel cancellation fee of £175. They have undeniably admitted it was their responsibility but refuse to refund the hotel cancellation fee. Their excuse is that the hotel is through their partner company Booking.com. Truly awful company, stay well away, the customer service is appalling. I booked a flight through last minute, paid, completed the booking. I received emails confirming the purchase but stating the booking isn’t confirmed and that they would send an email when it was. Absolutely Awful! Book your tickets through the air carrier's and spend less!! I booked through lastminute and i confirmed I didn't want insurance. After they showed me the amount and asked me to enter my card details they gave another pop up just to catch people off guard and take their money. Booked a weekend in amsterdam. Hotel is nice however its supposed to be 0.8 miles from city center its 15 miles. Booked us on flights from two different airports return flight is 70 miles away and not allowed are bags. 3 nights cost £395 each so wasn't cheap would never use again… Read Full Review

Made booking for flights and car hire they them. Thanks god did not book the hotel thru then. Had to chase things so many times. No communication between departments. I booked theatre tickets for a special occasion but the information given about the play was incorrect, leading to a spoilt evening. If the information had been correct, I would have never made the booking. Refused to give me the phone number for the hotel but obviously google did, rude hotel owner who said it was all Lastminutes fault and to allow my pet would cost me double!. I stupidly booked a holiday through Lastminute.com without doing any research. When I looked at reviews they were dreadful showing broken promises and different flights to those booked. I cancelled within hours and of course lost my deposit. Falsely represented room - told to wait by customer service, and then told that I waited too long in the hotel and they don't want to give me my money back I booked a hotel room by them. An absolutely shocking service from this travel 'agency'. I booked two flights through them, the outbound which was with Monarch and paid via debit card. When the Monarch collapse was announced, I made several calls to their call centre to be told '...not our problem...' in essence.
