I Purchased 3 Appliances From Wicked Savings And T
I purchased 3 appliances from Wicked Savings and the price was good - the operator was also very helpful and considerate when I was placing my order. A delivery date was given but my info was not passed on to the delivery firm as requested - I had asked them to pass along a phone number etc just in case there were any problems with delivery. I was given a delivery time of 12 noon and was ready and waiting. I waited until 3pm and still nothing came - I phoned wicked savings to find out why it was late but they did not know and that they would have to enquire for me and phone me back. They did so but couldn't find out anything - they then gave me the phone number of a delivery firm that I should be able to give me more information - I rang them and it turned out that my delivery had been SUB-CONTRACTED to another delivery firm who couldn't find my address and so had taken the goods back to the depot which was 30 miles away - I HAD RECEIVED NO PHONE CALLS LETTING ME KNOW ABOUT THIS - he said he would try and get it delivered again. To their credit the delivery driver eventually turned up at 5pm but I was still very annoyed with them as all my appliances had been loaded into the van upside down - I didn't receive an apology.
I read this review and felt the need to comment. Under NO circumstances are any of our customers given specific delivery times. We tell all our customers that the delivery is on an all-day service, but that the delivery company normally call ahead to give notice. I therefore feel that this negative review is unfair. Please note that despite the alleged problems, the delivery was made on day requested.

Based On My Experience, I Would Recommend The Wick
Based on my experience, I would recommend the Wicked Savings online domestic appliance shop.
They were the cheapest supplier overall for the 5 Bosch kitchen appliances that I required. I was able to specify the delivery date, and I got a further small discount on top of their low listed prices, as I was ordering a quantity of items. The sales manager was courteous and helpful.

I Ordered A Rangemaster Cooker And Extractor Fan F
I ordered a Rangemaster cooker and extractor fan from Wicked Savings. I ordered both items separately (the cooker about a week before the fan). The service for the cooker was excellent - it arrived exactly when they specified. However, 7 days after planned delivery, the fan still hadn't turned up. When I called to get an up-date they couldn't find the order and as a result I was told I'd have to re-order the fan and it would then take a further 10 - 14 days. A frustrating experience as I didn't receive an apology for the mistake and was made to feel like I was to blame. I've just re-ordered the fan with a different company who can deliver it in 5 days. I'd still give them another chance based on the oven experience (and their prices), but a shame they let themselves down with the extractor fan!

I Ordered A Siemens Hob From Www.wickedsavings.com
I ordered a Siemens hob from www.wickedsavings.com and specified a delivery address. The order was taken courteously by a gentleman then a young lady took the details. I was given a delivery date of the Friday of the same week.
First, I got a call to say the hob had not arrived so could not be delivered until the next week.
Next, we got a card through our door from the carrier to say that the goods could not be delivered, as we were not home. Of course we weren't, that's why we specified a different address.
My wife arranged with the carrier to deliver the hob to the correct address but when it arrived the packaging was damaged and open, inadequate packing and/or bad choice of carrier.
When I came to install the hob I found no instructions in the carton, presumably lost in transit.
So far I have made 4 calls to Wicked Savings to try to get a set of instructions and every time promises are made but still no instructions. Each time I called I was promised a call-back to let me know what's happening. No call-backs.
Out of frustration I contacted Siemens directly - their service was excellent and instructions arrived within 2 days, but still nothing from Wicked Savings.
I suspect this company has focused on lowest prices at the expense of customer service. I have given them every opportunity to put matters right but it seems now they have my money they are not interested. I'll never use them again and recommend you don't either.
