There Isn't Many Things That This Amp Can't Do. It
There isn't many things that this amp can't do. It has a great clean and distortion sound. Very natural and saturated, it' also have very nice dynamics to your playing individual notes ring out clear and distinct. I've owned and play many amps and can afford more expensive amps out there as well. I haven't found anything that has out performed the VH100R for the money. Sure you can get a boutique amp like Bogner, Diezel, Cornford Komet, Two Rock and etc. But for an amp that is rock solid and delivers the goods day in an day out and cost a lot less than the others. The VH100R is hard to beat for sheer value!

Overall, An Amazing Amp With Delicious And Shapeab
Overall, an amazing amp with delicious and shapeable tone; especially once you get a hang of the EQ. The distortion channel with drive is shear distorted pleasure from searing 80's type distortion to modern drop-tuned metal... you can sell your distortion and overdrive pedals because this amp doesn't need them. The clean channel shouldn't be overlooked either. I usually play it with the gain boost but it's got a great shimmering sound that is full and rich. And lets not forget how cool the amp itself looks. The mirror finish front panel and chicken head knobs makes this a class act through and through. Forget the expensive boutique amps because this bad boy delivers!

The Laney Vh-100r Has Many Useful Tools To Shape A
The Laney VH-100R has many useful tools to shape and tweak your sound. Extremely versatile. 2 channels w/ gain boost switches that acts like a 4 channel amp. Switchable from 6l6 to el34's, brilliant effects loop designed. Can dedicate just one effect on either channels A or B as well as both. Great sounding amp! However, it has plastic input jacks, weak power tube sockets, a little noisy but not audible when playing live. This is just a great sounding versatile amp! I've tried and own many amps over the years and I can afford more expensive ones but the VH100R just excels above the rest when it comes to versatility.
