I Bought This Amp Used From A Local Music Store. T

I bought this amp used from a local music store. They told me it was the best I could possibly get for the money. Not really. The sound is good when its not popping(acctually more like exploding). All of the efects are really great sounding: Especially the arena reverb. The second distortion channel is my favorite,SUPER HEAVY GAIN at low volumes. It does sound great, but after an hour or so of playing it will wine then pop(like i said before.) I think that is why they priced it at $500. Before i made my purchase i REALLY would have liked to have known that it would do that. As long as you make sure yours is good for long time playing: this really is the best for the money!

The Fender Stage 1600 Has A Nice Sound! Pure Fende

The Fender Stage 1600 has a nice sound! Pure fender tone, loud and clean even at 10. A little bit of noise for recordings but very good for the price!

I Used To Have A Peavey Chourus 400 That I Bought

I used to have a Peavey Chourus 400 that I bought at a pawn shop for about $275.00. When this Peavey amp died I ordered the Fender Stage 1600 from a music store on-line after reading the impressive ads, and specs about this amp. If I had a chance to test this amp before purchasing it, I can assure you that I would have chosen another amp. In fact I favored my old Peavey amp over this amp. I love Fender!! I have 3 Fender strats, however this amp just dose not cut it. When playing clean you will get smothered by other instruments on stage. This amp just dose not have the muscle dude. Fender should drop the price on this amp to around $250.00 and sell it as a beginners amp... Just my opinion.

The Fender Stage 1600 Guitar Amp Discredits Fender

The Fender Stage 1600 guitar amp discredits Fender's otherwise good name. They should have put a 'Squire' badge on it instead.

This Is The First Fender Amp I Have Owned. Before

This is the first Fender amp I have owned. Before this I have owned Vox AC30's (3 of them in fact), a Traynor, 3 H&H's and a Line 6 Spider. All except for the Vox's (from the 50's and 60's) were quieter than this thing. I have a 30-year-old H&H Performer which is much much quieter. The Line 6 is completely silent. Fender, get off your pedestal and get your act together. This amp going on Ebay next week!
