Wow! Been Looking For An All-in-one Unit For A Whi

Wow! been looking for an all-in-one unit for a while and was tempted by the Denon systems, even an Onkyo system, but then I came across the reviews for the TEAC...hunted around for one and found one on eBay for £35!!!Haggled, and actually got it for £27.50....won a nice pair of Sony speakers on there too, linked it all with some Fisual cable and this thing sounds great...not quite on a par with my old NAD 3020i amp, Arcam CD player and Mordaunt Short MS310 speakers, but not far off I'll tell you. Bass is rich, high notes vibrant...sounds (and looks) great!!!

Highly recommended

I Bought The Teac Cr-l600 A Fantastic Little Syste

I bought the TEAC CR-L600 a fantastic little system due to a friend having the reference series. The reference series being a little out of my current budget, I decided give the CR-L600 a try. The system it replaced was dated and sounded a little tired. I had no idea what to expect, but to say I was impressed was an understatement. I has bass and treble controls and loudness too, but none of these are required the sound 'flat' is so good and anything but flat. A warm rich deep fast deep bass and crisp bright treble. Very easy to use. The radio is very selective and precise offering great performance but requires a good antenna in weaker signal areas. This system also has three inputs and two outputs as well as a digital output and a sub output, so you can add plenty to it. I can confidently recommend this system as a good first system albeit small and compact, the quality far exceeds it small physical size. All for £199 and a free pair of Gale 3010's. The Gales do lack bass but do sound good with a sub, very refined indeed, but the system is working with my missions and offers every thing I need. Get one bought with a good pair of speakers and you have a complete system that can be added to as required. I love it!

Get A Teac Cr-l600 And Improve Your Life. Either

Get a TEAC CR-L600 and improve your life. Either as a main system for space conscious flat dwellers or a second system like me in the kitchen - this machine rocks. The tinny radio we replaced by this unit out stayed its welcome by about 10 years. I too was directed to this system by the Richer Sounds staff and I am now a TEAC convert. The detail I can hear in music is making listening to tracks I know seem like hearing it for the first time. Fun fun fun.

I Bought The Teac Cr-l600 After Originally Intendi

I bought the TEAC CR-L600 after originally intending to purchase another product. I Went to Richer Sounds intending to buy the Denon DM31 at £199 which was What Hi Fi product of the year 2003. However the manager assured me that though very similar the Teac had the edge in sound and clearly had better connects at the rear. Same price so for once I went against the magazine. Very happy with the product which is connected to 2 old Kef Cantor speakers - hardly state of the art but better than most tinny micro speakers. Sound is very revealing.

I Bought A Teac Cr-l600 Micro System Despite All T

I bought a TEAC CR-L600 micro system despite all the hoo ha about the Denon D31 because I originally planned to use it simply to be a good FM radio for my study and preferred the smaller footprint and more modern look of the TEAC.

As soon as I got it home I connected it to my Mission M70's and was so impressed with the detail and fast deep bass that I brought my Mission M752's upstairs for a quick comparison and there they've stayed.

This system deserves far better speakers than cheap miniature ones that come with micro systems. I then tried my Denon TU 260 tuner through it and frankly the tuner in the TEAC sounds even better! I also tried a Marantz CD63 mkII KI CD player through it which was a comparison too far I have to admit, but still the CD sound from the TEAC is very clean and really easy to listen to which is what you want for a second stereo system.

It's amazing what this little box can do, possibly the best 200 quid I've ever spent and certainly the best home entertanment purchase I've made.
