I go on holiday 5-6 times a year for 7 day holidays, but this year I decided to take an 11 dayer for the first time,I was full of trepidation having read some of the reports on this,my fears were unfounded as this is without doubt one of the beast hotels that I have stayed in,it was in a perfect location away 5 minuites from the main town. The hotel is spottless with an army of cleaners working very hard keeping it clean, the rooms are very clean with 2 beds and a soffa/pull down bed in each room, with a tv with all itv chanels and chanel 5,you can upgrade to a sky paccage for 2eutros a day if you want. The food was of a very good quality,so much so that usually when I am away on an all inclusive holiday I go out for a meal but the food was so good there was no need to do this . The entertainment was hit and miss when it was good it was brilliant, when it was not so good you went out for a walk around the beautiful lake with the island that belongs to the hotel,to sum up would I come back to this hotel the answer is yes I will and as soon as Ryanair confirm flights for next year I will make my booking

My husband, myself, daughter her partner and their 22month old son went to the hotel lagomonte(all inclusive) in june for a 2weeks holiday. The hotel staff were very friendly Antonia who worked in the restaurant was lovely and very friendly towards my grandson and lydia and Manu who done the activities were great we done different activities like rifle shooting, darts ,shuffle board and archery .The food was generally ok im a fussy eater but found something to eat although pork and chicken was very repetative. The towels n rooms were cleaned daily.A few negative points we had with the hotel was you could hear people in other rooms beside you and above you very clearly and on our last night some spanish teenagers from a school trip were above us so it was extreemly noisy and the pool and pool area closed at 6pm to be cleaned and this is a time we actually like to sit out by the pool the weather wasnt too good the 1st week so everyone sat out when it was nice and at 6pm we had to go and move ..The hotel is at the back of the resort so is more for good walkers although it only took us 5mins and we passed a couple of pubs on the way.We would definately go back to the hotel

This has to be the worst all inclusive hotel i have been to. We were promissed fabulous entertainment but in fact we were given one game of bingo a night with the odd singer on a night. The poor girl that was running the kids club was given nothing to entertain with. The food was appauling and what you had for lunch was then chopped up and used to mnake something for tea. They opened the pool bar when it was thundering and lightening and then closed it when it was sunny. As it was the end of the season the town was closing down, ewven the hotel was closing down around us. We paid for an all inclusive entertainment filled holiday and got neither.

Lagomonte Hotel was really good. I went in 1999 with my family, now going back Sept this year with my girlfriend for a relaxing holiday, all inclusive is brilliant, the food great. Would recommend this hotel for couples or families.

My opinion of Lagomonte Hotel is pretty good. The reception staff were helpful. The facilities are also good for a 3 star hotel. I would say the food on offer is great a real mix of dishes available and should cater for most people. The Chef occasionally came out to the dining area to check on how things were going and looked like someone who took pride in his work.
The bar staff were courteous and very hard working doing long hours.
My main criticism is that good common sense rules although well publicised were not enforced within the hotel. Rules are posted around the place advising that towels on loungers do not reserve them there were also other pool related rules which went unheeded. The behaviour of some guests and there lack of supervision of there children meant that loungers were not available unless you got up at 6.30am to put a towel on it and the pool at times was a dangerous place especially for younger children.

This is the second time we stopped at the Lagomonte Hotel and it was fantastic.
The food is first class and the staff top notch.
The rooms were very clean and adequate.
The only downfall was the mosquitoes, my wife was bitten from head to toe and had to go to the hospital for treatment, so, take plenty of mosquito repellent.
Otherwise the holiday was great would definitely go again but maybe when the mozzies aren't quite as rife.

Brilliant hotel with really good entertainers and the rooms were perfect. Would have given this a ten out of ten if the pool was bigger and they had a t.v but overall I recommend everyone to go there!!

It was the second time there and I still love it, The rooms were pretty spacious I think and services were great especially in reception. The entertainment were great I loved the ABBA girls they were great and the entertainment crew they were fantastic. Thank you! In conclusion I thank you so much to everyone especially the bar man for when I dislocated my knee doing grease and the staff were very nice and held my hand when I dislocated it and sent everybody out and closed the doors when the paramedics put my leg back in place, and for translating what the paramedics said and phoned the ambulance and the barman who gave me ice for my knee!! so it was a great holiday cant wait to go back in May!!!

I absolutely loved this hotel-the first thing u notice is how clean the hotel is! the receptionists are very pleasant and helpful!
The lifts r very small-theres only 2 and u can only get 3/4 people in them at a time (so abit of a nightmare gettin 3 cases,me my partner and are daughter in there)
The room was basic. But then all we did in it was sleep and get changed in there-so not a drama!
The evening entertainment is under a huge gazebo structure, thats fixed to the hotel-lovely and cool in the day but abit nippy in the evening-so b warned and take a cardie!
The island in the lake is lovely-the pool is of a decent size and was very peaceful if u wanted to get away from the excited children runnin and bombin into the main pool! shame about the ants over there tho-they are tiny and don't bite but irritation!!!
The location and resort are also excellent, its a 10/15 minitues walk from the beach (4/5 minutes from the main strip and then straight down,no weaving and going down alleys and small side streets)
The food was basic but of a good standard
I must say the entertainers where fantastic and really kept everyone happy!
Also got to say we had a hurricane when we were there but the hotel staff were very good about it and ushered guests into the main hotels seating area (lovely comfy sofas next to the bar)!
Overall I would definitely go back to the Lagomonte hotel. . . my family and i loved every minute-we just didn't want to come back!

The hotel in general was nice and the staff were very nice the only problem were the amount of children which is not the hotels fault. I wold definitely go to Alcudia again maybe when I have a family of my own as the hotel was very well catered for families. The entertainment was cheesy but in a good way and the food was like normal on holiday, buffet style with something for everyone. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and the hotel was very very clean. I will return when I have family!

I enjoyed my stay At Lagomonte Hotel in Alcudia. The only thing that put me off was the crowds of unruly kids running around the corridors at night, making noise and riding up and down on the elevators pressing all the buttons, and making it stop at every floor (it actually broke one day while we were there). There should definitely be more security and control over this.

The Lagomonte Hotel in Alcudia was spotlessly clean. The maids came into the room every day. The hotel is very child friendly, and there is plenty for kids to do, and also adults. There was a very relaxed feel to the hotel, although when we went it was very busy.
There were too many older kids running about in corridors and down stairs unsupervised, although that's their parent's fault. Also, the pool could have done with being bigger. It would be too small at busy times of year. The lifts were very small too, and there were only 2 of them, which is not enough.
It is a really nice hotel, and no hotel is perfect. It is an excellent hotel for children, and it is in a great location. I would definitely return if I went to Alcudia again.

Lagomonte Hotel was a 3 Star when we went in 1999. For a 3 star it was very good, food available at all times and the hotel was clean and well presented. It was in need of modernising but I am sure that has been done by now. The pool are was pleasent and there is plenty of activities for the kids. It is very family friendly and there was a lot of kids. The island part of the hotel was very nice and unique. It had a cafe on there and also another pool and area. It is about 5 - 10 min walk to the centre where the resort is very nice indeed. At the time the hotel was under First Choice. The view from our back bedroom was not great but it was ok. There is plenty to do and the entertainment is average. I would not recommend this hotel if you have high expectations, but it was ok.
