I have previously stayed at this resort. The resort itself is set within 35 acres of woodland overlooking the town of Aberfeldy which is a 5 minute walk away. The setting of Moness is absolutely stunning with gorgeous views every where you looked. The first time I stayed I went into a self catering cottage and everything that I needed was there. It was fantastic. The beds are enormous and we felt it was like a home from home. I went with my partner and found it to be a very romantic place to go. I would recommend the cottages for families and young people.
The last time I stayed (last week)we stayed in one of the Top of The House Suites in the Hotel at Moness. To say the least about this room it was stunning!!! We could not fault this at all. The views are fabulous.
The rooms are also very modern. Moness does also have wonderful leisure facilities which are sauna, steam room, games rooms and beauty treatment rooms and we were even more surprised to find an indoor heated pool which was lovely and warm.
The food in the restaurants were first class. I would recommend to go into the Farragon restaurant you can get a 3 course table d'hote for around £27 a head. There is another bar/restaurant called the Terrace they have a lovely kids menu and have food in there like burgers, pasta, lasagne and much more.
I would definitely return to Moness. The staff were so friendly and we really felt at home the whole time.

Having just returned from a two week break at the Moness Country Club I felt I had to write a review. The accommodation was excellent, a one bedroom cottage for the first week and a two bedroom cottage for the second. The facilities were excellent the staff were wonderful. The restaurant was quite expensive the only down side was that the menu didn't change in the two weeks we were there. I would recommend this resort to anyone well done.
It would have been nice to be given a local map of the area because there were not many places to eat round and about. Again a fantastic holiday.

Aberfeldy - Good point to be for exploring the local and wider area within Scotland.
Clean and tidy inside buildings and out.

Comfortable 2 bed house with lovely views. The staff were very helpful and meals in the restaurant excellent. We stayed for 2 weeks and found it ideal for a quiet winter holiday. An excellent resort, very well kept with comfortable and well equipped lodges.

Our accommodation (Granary Cottage) was excellent, it was very clean and spacious the pool area was clean, tidy and the pool temperature was good. The restaurant was lovely and the service was excellent there are stunning views and walks around the grounds and the gardens were kept well. The staff were very friendly and obliging. I am so happy I chose here to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday myself and my family had a fantastic time. I would thoroughly recommend Moness Country Club. Not a bad point really but there was no lamps in our accommodation also I felt there wasn't enough choices on the menu in the restaurant especially for my vegetarian sister.

Accommodation so clean and cared for. Bed really comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Bad points, none at all really except main facilities are up stairs which is a nuisance when you have walking difficulties. Good facilities. Well worth the long journey from Hertfordshire, will definitely go again.

Our holiday was superb, as a result of what we saw with regard to the quality and high standards set at Moness by the staff, we decided we would like to own there so we made a purchase before we left.
We think that said it all!

We have today returned from a week at Moness Country Club in one of the original cottages. I can honestly say I couldn't fault a thing. We have three children and there was everything here that you could need for a week away. Very clean, lovely little swing park, pool, duck pond, games area. Within comfortable walking distance to Aberfeldy town centre, although uphill returning! We are already looking to book for next Easter

Really enjoy Moness - particularly like staying in either the Courtyard cottages or the new ones - I have stayed now in garden wynd but I think the gate lodge ones would also be worth a try in the future. They do also sometimes offer good last minute deals on the older cottages and they are worth it for the rates offered out.
All in all I love Aberfeldy and Moness is a great base to stay in

We have already recommended Moness Country Club in Aberfeldy to family, and my sister and her family stayed there this year and loved it!
We used to stay at the Croftnacaber site, and Moness was just as enjoyable, if not more so. We loved it. My husband and I go to Scotland every year. Staff at Moness, especially the lady on reception were wonderful and so helpful. The facilities were very good.

My wife and I stayed for one week at the Moness Country Club in Aberfeldy during our two week tour of Scotland, and we were most impressed with this facility. We would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We had a most enjoyable week at the Moness Country Club on our first visit last year, so much that as soon as we returned home we booked a week this year.

We were looking for a base to explore Scotland and found Moness Country Club to be perfect for this. We were on a tight budget so didn't want to spend too much but also wanted to be comfortable. Moness at 3 star standard suited us perfectly for this trip. It is a cosy hotel but has the additional benefit of an onsite leisure centre with a pool. Speaking with some other guests we found that there is a number of self catering properties available to rent on the resort.

Fawlty Towers is repeated every now and then on TV. If you miss it and wish to relive that full on experience of wishing you had never left home Then try Moness Country Club.
Its almost funny...everything that is awful about the Brit Service Industries situated in a few Scottish acres...that's it ...it's a theme park. I've just realised it.
