i was just enjoying my flame grilled steak mccoy crisps when i was surprised to feel a cuboid like shape within the remains of my crisp crumbs only to find a nestle milky way bar hiding amongst my packet of crisps. my son has a severe allergy to milky way wrappers and if he had consumed any of my said crisps, he would have passed away brutally. a death filled with extreme level diarrhoea, severe projectile vomiting and cancer is not what my son deserves. do better next time.

I used to buy these crisps all the time from the vending machine at work, and they were really good. But lately they have been an absolute waste of money with more going in the bin than not., especially the multi packs. To say they are disgusting is an understatement. Half the pack would be cheese and onion, the other half is usually a mix of various other flavours.. which is disgusting. Very seldom is a flavour the actual flavour you bough. I thought it was a fluke but it was almost every time I bought a multipack. So won’t ever waste my money on them again. Walkers/McCoys… get a grip on your quality control.

We all expect the multipacks to have a bit less than normal products. This takes it to a new level. I don't know why they bothered putting anything in the bags. This is an absolute disgrace The 6 bags would probably equate to 1 and a half normal bags for £1.80. Disgusting.

You expect a bargain with a multipack. Forget it with this one a complete and utter swindle 6 pack should read single pack with 6 bags. Even then I'm not sure if you would fill 1 bag.

Bought a pack of McCoys 6 pack and they are the worst crisps i have ever bought. Both packs of salt and vinegar only had 6 crisps in each pack, both the cheese and onion where only 1/3 of a pack full and both packs of ready salted didn't have any salt at all in them they where just greasy. Absolutely disgusting won't ever buy these again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I've always selected McCoys Ridge Cut Crisps above all others. Last couple of months I've noticed they are now called McCoy's Thick Cut and they are just not the same; the texture is artificial and flavour too sharp. Something has happened here, but I'm not sure what; just won't be buying anymore.

I just purchased a bag of mcCoy's and I'm so disappointed! Not even half full! I feel I have truly wasted my money!! Will not be buying any more large bags in the future!

Sometimes you get a really delicious pack of these crisps, where they had kept their flavour and aren't too overcooked to make them hard. In other, unfortunaely more common times, they are overcooked, to the point where they are forming a golden brown tint (which should not happen with crisps), or are burnt or discoloured. This overcooking also makes them lose their flavour. So considering they're 75p per bag, compared with 55p for other brands I'm not very happy. Which is a shame, as I used to love eating McCoy's!

Mc Coys crisps are sold at a completely undeserved price premium. For the umpteenth time I have bought a bag only to find it contains crisps with burnt bits, black bits and discoloured bits. I guess, this is because they have taken no care to sort the potatoes before they cooked them. It’s pretty disgusting and not something you want to eat. There 32g packet is more like 20g after you throw away the bad bits.

These crisps have been favourites since they started years ago, great Pub & a pint crisps. But recent versions such as Meaty variety pack spoiled by too much fake flavour as mars many a crisp today adding salt is a necessity or those used to salt will notice the empty "no salt" feeling the Hot & Spicy 6 bag is good though in taste, once you get past the odd smell & taste of the cooking oil the problem is they don't look too appetising, open the bag out & see lots of black "not good potato" bits & not just from skin that didn't get removed, just about everything is included, root eyes, bad bits & it needs sorting out like a scavenger to get your fill. having to edit your food isn't good though the ugly bits won't harm you, it's not appealing to eat Mc Coys need to use better quality potatoes & sort them better

flamed grilled stake are the BEST! salt and vinegar are amazing as WELL, and cheese and onion they are amazing crunchy CRISPS, i would defiantly recommend them to every person on this WORLD. you always get a great amount of crisps in the BAG, unlike other CRISPS, there value for money are UNBELIEVABLE, if you HAVEN'T tried MCCOYS, i suggest you DO, and start with flame grilled STAKE, but if you DON'T like THEM, make sure to try the other ones as WELL! thank you for reading THIS, and PLEASE, please try these crisps <3

McCoys crisps are some of the best crisps i have had only realy rivaled by Seabrooks on the flavor front.
Mccoys never lack flavor which is what some of its competitiors do and you always get a generous helping which satisfys you.
Now that they have reduced saturated fats aswell they are a real contender for being the greatest crisps as they taste great and arnt as bad for you.

McCoy's Steak flavour THE BEST, but then salt and vinegar are top contender!
They are always crunchy, can't beat a crinkle cut! full of flavour but not just a little dusting, and the best part is its a generous portion.
Excellent value for money, because with some other crisp brands, you might like the idea of the flavour, but its not true to life when you eat them and you hardly get any in the bag anyway! Not good.
Definately 5 out of 5 for me.

I love McCoys crisps!! - my ultimate and all time favourite was the grilled onion flavour - originally came out in brown packaging, then went off the shelves and was re-introduced later in purple packaging. Please, please, please bring them back - I can not describe in words just how good they taste!!!!

McCoys are one of the most overrated items I have ever come across. People always seem to talk highly about these crisps. However I disagree. Especially in the salt and vinegar flavour the strength of the flavouring is usually enough to burn my tongue and the steak flavour is beaten in taste by every other competitor.

McCoy's are the ultimate crisps, with flame grilled steak being the best closely followed by the new Chinese sizzling beef flavour. The packets are big and you certainly get a lot for your money. When buying in a multipack though they can be quite expensive when buying them individually. They have a good range of flavours and they take the edge of your appetite nicely.

Couldn't agree more1 McCoy's used to be my go-to crisp, but I don't buy them anymore. they are as hard as rock, no underlying potato taste and and artificial and over-powering flavour. suspect the much-vaunted launch of thick cut (they were always thicker) is a cover-up for alteration in the production process which will have something to do with the salt, fat, sugar police brigade.
Shame on Mc Coy's - GIVE US BACK our crisps!
