It's keeps me reading that I can't let it go till I have finished it! Even as I have finished reading, the story still reverberate in my mind. There are many quotes that I found it to be very useful. It's really different from twilight series. I love this book ,this book is not the typical fairy tale stories like some other vampire books . This book reflects the brutal truth of the world, practical and I can't stop want to believe that it's not a fiction at all. The story is just amazing beyond description!!

The Best Book I have read before I ever got introduced in Twilight.
I love Sita....
As a child I had two hero's in my life:
Sheera(He-Man's sister) who was called Adora before she was transformed into the Princess of Power and Sita (Alisa Perne).
I adopted both their names Adora Perne. This has been my nick name since I could remember. All my friends know me by this name.
Once you start to read the first book you will fall in love with her and you will have to read all of them. I strongly recommend for anyone to read these books. Trust me once you do you will not regret it.

"Christopher Pike, The Last Vampire" - I LUV SITA....she is amazing!!! First you notice the incredible confidence that she has so that no one even thinks of messing with her in the first book.. then there's all the love that she has...for everyone.... Ray, Rama, Seymour, Dantte (even though it turned out in the end that he was the evil Lord Landulf), Suzama, Yaksha and of course Krishna. It was, IS, and WILL BE the best book for me ever and i know im not alone, but for me it just means EVERYTHING and i was so devestated to read the last book, the very end to know that everything in those last books wasnt real, that Seymour wrote those adventures. But i believe in that last sentences that she, Sita was sending all those thoughts to him to lead him to a wonderful vampiric life just before he died.

I think it's a good book, not the best by far but still good...( I read a lot) And there are many better books!
The Last Vampire by Christopher Pikes, is a good read that changes the way you look at vampires. The way he has written it is easy to read and hard to put down.
The Last Vampire by Christopher Pikes, is NOT one of the best vampire books I have ever read.
It is written in a style that is easy for children to read, but some of the content is not really for children. It has lots of sex, gore and swearing and many other thing that are not right for childrens eyes...in one chapter it talked about incest.
It is good.
It is no where near as good as the 'Twilight Saga' ( Twilight to Breaking Dawn)

I have said it before and i will say it again, The Last Vampire was awesome! It was like the series was about some goddess and this was her holy book for all worshipers to read like the bible. The character seemed both ashamed and proud of who she is, the way she speaks you can almost see her in her gorgeous ancient body.

I found this book very interesting to read.
I picked it up and didn't put it down again until I was finished.
This book kept me interested.
And had suspense.
Everything was very clear in my head. I could picture everything without any trouble at all.

this book makes you feel like you want to know and be these people. this is by far the best book that has ever been written, i know it was intended for ages 10-13 but i still read it at the age of 22 because it has a sinful way of making you want to believe its not a work of fiction and that it has to be real. test yourself by reading the first book and just see if you can resist tracking down the other 5

One of the most intriguing and addictive books I have ever read. It's definitely well worth a read - I know I certainly couldn't put it down, and I myself have read it a good four times.

Christopher Pike, The Last Vampire - If you do read this book or you let your child read this book, then you may want to beware of the language and sexual content of the book. There are gory and very violent scenes in the book that may be too explicit for the child.
The series is very well-known though and is read by many.

Krishna is not a "made up god". If you had any intelligence or any knowledge of any religions, you'd know that Krishna is not made up by the author.

<br>And, I read the book at age 13. Those who support censorship disgust me.
