We are a family of 4. We have 2 boys of 14 and 10. After reading some terrible reviews this is what we thought of our recent stay at the Belair: checked in very late and the process was extremely quick. Pool view and sea view room. It was very clean. Yes furniture is bit dated but we do not go on holiday expecting to spend our days in the room. What matters to us is clean linen, towels and bathrooms daily. All food is really ok, plenty of salads for really fussy eaters, you are in Greece and therefore you have to expect to see the same foods rotated over the course of your holiday. There was also plenty of bread for toast and lots of rolls. There is a tennis court attached to the hotel and my family booked this everyday at 9.00am. This helped to let off steam for the boys and allowed mum and dad to chill by pool later. All staff work very very hard. We find that if you are polite to others then they are polite back and cannot do enough for you. The pool was a lovely size and my boys spent most of the days in it. It a was cleaned by the most friendliest pool man/gardner/maintenance man ever. The only criticism that we have is that there was not enough entertainment in the evenings. We wanted a week of quality family time and that is what we got. My children are happy with a pool in the daytime but they need a bit more to do at night: there were only 2 nights of entertainment out of the 7 (the hotel could do a film night for children upstairs in the conference area or they could have a dvd player and choice of films, a greek night would be lovely to see as we are in greece. I would say that it is such a shame that the poolside bar area is so big and underused that at night this could become the hub of the entertainment. However, we did find an 18 hole mini golf course at the Olympic Palace hotel which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel (6eur an adult and 4 for a child. There was also a sports bar 2 doors down from the hotel and they were more than willing to show any game that you wanted to watch. We would definitely go back but not with our children being the ages that they are, perfect for younger children and couples.

We Found The Staff At The Belair Beach Hotel In Rh

We found the staff at the Belair Beach Hotel in Rhodes very unhelpful on arrival. Breakfast consisted of egg and beans, or beans and egg. The only helpful people were the pool bar staff.

Belair Beach Hotel - We Moved To The Bel Air After

Belair Beach Hotel - We moved to the Bel Air after a horrendous few days stuck in Hell-In-Falaraki. It was such a relief to stay somewhere where the staff had heard of bleach!

Rooms were cleaned every day and there was nowhere in the hotel that felt unclean. The rooms were a good size, as were the balconies.

The staff were lovely - all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

The food was great and well prepared. There was a good variety and plenty of it.

Although Ixia itself is quite quiet, there is a great taxi service to and from Rhodes town for 5 euro.

We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. There is nightlife enough if you want to find it, and peace and quiet enough if you're just looking to get away from it all.
