The location of the hotel was perfect, and it is right in the centre of Faliraki. The resort has received a lot of bad press, but it's nonsense. The place is buzzing at night and really good fun. There is something for everyone to do. The people are friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic holiday. The night porter at the Argo Hotel was a really cool guy. If you don't fancy a big night out you can sit in the bar and have a game of pool and chat, or there is the 24 hour bar just across the road. The pool area is really nice and so is the beach, and they are also really clean. You are literally 2 minutes away from everything.
All in all we had an excellent holiday, which was good value for money. The hotel was friendly and clean. All we have to say is if you're thinking about visiting Faliraki, don't believe what you read in the press or what you see on the TV. Go and check it out for yourself. We guarantee you will have an excellent time!!

We got moved to another hotel because the Argo Hotel in Faliraki was not opening for another week or so. On the off chance, myself and my friend walked down to the Argo hotel and they were open, so we got a transfer straight back down, as where we were staying was on a hill, and we were told it was only a 10 minute walk to the bars, clubs and beach, but it wasn't. It was a 45 minute walk, which is not good at all, so we were over the moon when we got to the Argo hotel.
The hotel overall is a really nice hotel. The pool is great; not too big and not too small. Rooms are a nice size for 2 people. The only bad thing about the room was the bathroom. If you have a shower the floor does get too wet, but other than that there is nothing wrong. It is a great hotel. I do recommend this hotel, and if you are going for a mad holiday and you're not in your room that much, it is ideal.
Faliraki has been the best holiday I have had in ages. The press have had bad things to say about it, but there is nothing wrong with it. You would have a really good holiday if you went. All the bars are wicked, and so are all the clubs. So get out to Faliraki guys.

Me and my mate got a last minute deal paying just £250 for our accommodation at the Argo Hotel. We didn't have a clue what we were going to get as we read several bad reviews. The room is very basic! only two beds, dressing table, and a small bathroom and a small balcony, however there is so much to do in Falariki that we hardly stayed in our room. You must be aware that you have to eat out so ensure that you take enough money to accomodate this. The pool area is quiet but the pool is cold, it is however kept very tidy. 5 minute walk to the beach and the best club in Falariki Q Club is just three minute walk away from the hotel. If you go to the welcome meeting you receive a free club pass which is well worth getting!!! There is a 24 hour bar in the hotel and the barman is great. He has been on the Island 22 years and can tell you everything you need to know!! he is originally from Australia so speaks fluent English. The water park in Falariki is amazing and well worth doing dont book with the tour operator as it is cheaper to get a cab for 5 euros!! which means you can leave and return whenever you like. Outside the hotel there is a 24hr bar opposite thatfrom 6pm till 12 am you can pay 20 euros and drink as much as you like and get a three course meal!!! If you are seeking a cheap holiday and are looking for more of a clubbing holiday than relaxing and do not mind about a dodgy shower or having to eat out then this hotel is ideal!! Also for security you can hire a safe in reception.we made several new friends and will definantly be returning next year!! if you like your four star accomodation with full air con then this isnt for you as you have to hire fans from reception.

The hotel rooms we stayed in at the Argo Hotel were dirty, there was no air conditioning, and the crickets in the trees outside - they are louder than the music - very annoying and unrelaxing
