Xs All Areas: The Status Quo Autobiography Starts

XS All Areas: The Status Quo Autobiography starts off describing Rick and Francis' childhood, it is really interesting and just so satisfying to find out all about there lives. It then tells all about how status quo was formed back in 1962 then went from song to song being released which never made it big, until 1968 the year that "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" was released. This hit took storm not only in the U.K but also in the United States. How the band took off in terms of musical success. It really describes in great detail which albums they recorded and things they experienced back then, how drug and alcohol (mainly drugs) caused the breakdown of their lives and marriages. Eventually it leads to the breakup of the band in 1985 and how it eventually took off again with the new line up with which they are still associated with today. All in all, if you are a die-hard quo fan of are just looking for an extremely interesting and detail packed book then i really recommend this book.
