I was there during a power cut and the waitress was so helpful and dedicated that we actually forgot about the problem. I go there once and a while and I surely recommend. The effort of the staff to satisfy the customers even in an adversity that was beyond their power caused an impression on us. Well done! You must check it out.

I have recommended Bombay Blues, Northwood Hills to family, friends and colleagues because the food was excellent, restaurant is very clean, good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.

I really like this place, its great for chilling out with a group of people. Brilliant drinks and pretty decor.
Food was very good. If you go on a weekday, the draught beer, if bought from the bar, is only £2. Furthermore, on weekdays you can have sheesha (flavoured smoking tobacco).
Food was extremely spicy... sometimes difficult to eat.
Sheesha quality is variable: it was outstanding once, and pretty poor the next time. I thought it was fairly dear on the whole

Having read the previous reviews on Bombay Blues I went on January 8th, not really knowing what to expect. I needn't have worried. It was absolutely fantastic! The cocktails were great, the beer was great, the best pint of Guinness I've had outside of Ireland, and the service and food was unbelievably good. Maybe I got lucky, but I'll be back, no doubt about it. I felt almost guilty recommending it to friends, as I would like to keep it a personal secret! I think that if Bombay Blues Keep their standards they'll have a loyal customer.

We have booked a table at Bombay Blues Restaurant on several occasions and when we got there, our table wasnt free, we waited one hour for our table one time. Although the staff are very friendly, I just don't think its acceptable. Also there is a big group of kids who are always in there, they take up so much room - about 3 or 4 tables and they dont even order any food.
Apart from that, there is a nice atmosphere. If it was much bigger and better service it would be great.

I eat at Bombay Blues on a weekly basis, i love the food, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
The atmosphere is warm and you always feel like going back. They now have a Arabian Night every Wednesday which includes a belly dancer and Shisha's.
I would recommend this resturant to all as it caters for all age groups.
The restaraunt has recently made their eating area a non-smoking area which is even better for eating in. I recently attended an Ann Summers night which was full of fun and excitment. Bombay Blues are always coming up with new and exciting events.

I DID go there but don't anymore. Its full of teenagers, they should be at their local youth club, not in a bar!!

But you go there "several times a month". If you're not happy, don't go again! Is that simple enough for YOU!

Yes I know that it is a bar/ restaurant. Sit on the stools, if you're just drinking, and let those who want to eat have the tables. Is that not simple enough for you?

Bombay Blues is great, a cross between a cocktail bar and an Indian restaurant with fun and friendly staff, always out to please.
Either having a drink and enjoying some poppadoms, a full sit down meal with friends or a party, service is always with a smile. Maybe it's because they know the food will be a while that they have to keep the customers happy, but believe me, the food is worth the wait. I am yet to be disappointed and I've been quite a few times! My mum even had her hen night there!!!
They have an extensive beer, wine, champagne and spirits collection and the bar staff can knock up some awesome cocktails!
It's not your typical Indian retaurant as they have a couple of big screens showing the sport and the odd Bollywood music video. At the weekend, it is always packed with Indians of all ages (which I always consider a good sign as I'm white) all having a laugh!
You have got to check this place out. I've been telling all my mates.

With regard to your comment about a group of kids being in there, taking up 3-4 tables and not even eating, Bombay Blues is a BAR/Restaurant, not exclusively a restaurant. You don't have to eat there to enjoy a drink.

<br>And if you've been there numerous times and not been happy, well vote with your feet and don't go again!
