This Honda Integra Type R is a very good car. With a minimum amount of modifications this car is unbeatable in the touge!

The Honda Integra Type R Sports Car (DC2)-one of the greatest of all time vehicles made. Yes the Acura Integra Type R at heart is a DC2, but will never mount to the sucess of the Honda Integra, either in speed, performance, and looks.
History of Acura Integra
1994-2001 LS GS RS can only rev up to: 7100k RPM with no vtec Total of 140HP@7100RPM
1994-2001 GSR can rev up to 8000k RPM Total of 160HP@8000k RPM
1998-2001 Type R can rev up 8500k RPM, 180HP@8500k RPM
Now you might say this is not much, Correct. But you are thinking of the Acura Integra, available in the states, the car we are currently reviewing is the HONDA INTEGRA which is pretty much TYPE R or SIRg, only available in Japan/Austrailia/UKDM/Canda and pretty much every other country except the united states
Honda Integra Type R:
1996-1997 190HP @ 9k RPM
1998-2001 200-210HP @ 10k rpm
The car is pretty much the quickest NA 4 cylinder production vehicles made. drop the gear at 2500k and let it rip, once hitting 6000-6500k RPM, the car is a total difference. reving from 1-10000k RPM, yes i have said 10 Thouasand RPM's hear the idle, then hear the VTEC, basically music to my ears. The car itself has been Formula Race Tune, cranking out well over 100+ HP per liter, its up there in the ranks of formula 1 racing and exotic cars. The car itself has a very high compression ratio, which allows this high revving beast to breath. The engine code b18c, noth b18c5 or anything like that, is the heart if the system. The car also featured a look like no other integra, not like its hybrid cousins here in the states the DC2 Front lights has been changed to more agressive, and that performance, raced tuned suspension with LSD transmission, can make sure: Yes, its begging for those S turns. Recaro Race seats, Stripped of any bare neccesities:
Clocks
Moon Roofs
Arm Rest
The interior has been changed, all vents and most components on tachometer and interior is carbon fiber. The wheels feature a 5x114 lug sys for more control with ABS. Titanium shift knob, and upgraded nissin brakes and calipers. This puppy is begging to be owned.
The honda integra Type R Japan:
Vogue Silver
Champonship White
Burgundy
Milano Red
Forest Green
The acura integra Type R United states:
Flamenco Black Pearl
Champonship White
Phonex yellow
The car is raced tuned, a NA 10k revving motor built for any drive, and best in its class.

Although The Honda Integra looks luxuriously sporty, once you've driven it you'll realise it's primarily for enthusiasts. There is minimal effort placed on internal comfort. The seats are as firm as the ride. However the car subsequently holds to the road well, and holds the occupants well. The back seats are only for children or height-challenged adults.

The Honda Integra Type R is a great car of racing pedigree. Its hard to find the one you want in the UK but well worth it when you do. Know one can say the teg type-r is even close to being grandads runabout. and youll beat almost anything else on the road.

I had a Civic VTI before buying my UK spec Red Honda Integra Type R so i was well prepared for the savageness of the VTEC kick in. However i wasn't ready for the level of grip this car exhibits. Any corner at any speed. I have yet to find the limits of this car and i really have been looking hard!
Its the most entertaining car i have ever driven and that includes some pretty high end machinery. When it comes to a twisty country road be asured in this car you can beat anything. Bikes, Scoobs, M3s. In a straight line you will lose out but show this car a corner and the LSD grabs the apex and pulls you round.
Just don't crash, coz the lightened chassis which gives such a rewarding experince will also provide at long term stay in hospital!

I do think these cars are great, but i'm pretty sure it cant beat an m3, may be one of the older ones pre2001, but my 2004 would easily get away from it.
<br>But for the money you cant go wrong.
