Excellent location, one of the best beaches we have been. The rooms are simple but very clean.

We loved everything about this hotel, great service, lovely beach and a very good breakfast. The location of this hotel is by far the best.. Would defently come back to stay longer next summer.

hotel very reasonably priced,stuff was very kind,the location is amazing,beach one of the best in the area.rooms need some redecoration but were very very clean(cleaned daily!).the food at the restaurant is of high quality and the watersports just in front of the hotel are good .Bus to parga is very convenient

Hotel reflects the idea of "value for money"!! My job includes a lot of travelling and I can assure you that I couldn't find many hotels to worth it! I really had a wonderful time as hotel is located directly on the beach with breathtaking sea view.

Pros
Nice beach with clear waters and the best type of sand, good restaurant, fair prices in the restaurant and the bar, green hills around, quiet.

Cons
Terrible building, built in the 70s, most of the amenities have not been changed since then, infrastructure, breakfast and personnel were probably good in the 70s (the former has not changed since then), but not in 2010. The photos of the rooms can not tell that the furniture is probably 40 years old !

ROOM
Terrible. The worst room we have ever stayed in (we have travelled throughout the world " even the hotel in Khartum, Sudan, was much better). The room, the beds and the tables were built 40 years ago (!). The last time they were painted was probably 10 to 20 years ago. The bathroom was partly renovated probably 10 to 20 years ago, but the bathroom door remained the old one. The toilet was the original one and therefore, after 40 years, it can not look clean, no matter how well they try to clean it. The bathroom door made a huge noise when you open/close it, which can be heard 100 meters away. The tap collapsed every time we touched it. The room was supposed to consist of two smaller rooms. In reality it was one room separated in two parts by an old shutter, which did not allow for any visual or sound separation of the two parts.
Being a family of 4, I was expecting one double bed and two single beds. Instead, the room had 2 single beds, and 2 sofas, which turned into 2 single beds (a total of 4 single beds).
The dirty pillow cases were definitely the peak of the horror (they obviously did not wash them well enough or they fell to the floor during transport).
The only new thing in this room was the large aluminum door to the veranda (balcony) and the refrigerator (whose door was rusty, though).


WIFI
The rooms were assumed to have free WiFi. We never succeeded into connecting to the WiFi network, even though its signal strength was ' very good '. The hotel personnel blamed our laptops. We had 3 laptops (there two teenagers in the family ' ), which never had a problem connecting to WiFi.

PARKING
Extremely limited, not marked, parking spaces. Everyone parked wherever he/she felt convenient, some even blocked the traffic.

BREAKFAST
The worst breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. It looked as if they had given special effort to make it as bad as possible. The milk, for example, was a mix of 20% evaporated milk and 80% tap water. The pies and the coffee were unbelievably bad. There were some fruits, but we did not touch them, as there were tens of flies sitting on them. A lot of guests were bringing their food to the breakfast room (which they bought from the local market).

SERVICES
Only one lady in the reception knew the business. The rest of the ladies in the reception knew nothing about the hotel, the computer systems (which failed quite often), the processes, the correct behaviour, etc. It seemed that the only thing they could do was to show the rooms to the new guests. They admitted their lack of knowledge,. The behaviour of the personnel in the reception (with the exception of this one lady) was not polite.

RESTAURANT
The ' Satin Sea ' restaurant (its infrastructure, its food and its personnel) is good (better than average). It is located right next to the beach. There was a confusion as to what is included in the Half/Full Board and what is not. This was never cleared out. When we ate at the restaurant, we only paid the drinks (since our arrangement was for FB), but at checkout we paid for the exact cost of the meals.

BEACH
The excellent beach is the only thing that keeps this hotel alive. The sea water is clean and the sand is excellent. It is unclear whether you have to pay for the umbrellas and the sunbeds. Some guests paid, but we did not pay (probably because we went there during off-peak hours: 10:00-12:00 and 18:00-20:00).

SUMMARY
This hotel is a disgrace to the Greek tourism and Greece as well. Greece has a large number of hotels, which offer much better infrastructure and services for the same price.
The hotel owners have to invest into improving the infrastructure. If they insist to offer today a product of the 70 ' s, it will not be long before this hotel becomes a ' ghost ' building standing as an example of bad entrepreneurship and poor management.
