There are various versions of this van. Mine is the one which has a forward folding passenger seat and a cage which closes off the driver. It is a 2007 1.5 Dci. A superb van for fuel economy and a solid workhorse. Having owned it and used it everyday for six years, I can honestly say that it is by far the most reliable vehicle I have owned. 137K miles on the original engine and coasts at 70 MPH with a medium load. Any issues? The sliding door lock has never worked with remote key from purchase but just a minor thing I have lived with. Service items are inexpensive as the Kangoo is based on the very popular Clio 1.5 Dci. The timing belt cost £130 to replace and my most expensive service cost to date.

A pile of bolts. PAS failed. Electrical problems all over as with all renaults. bearing going. Stay away from older vans

I drove an earlier version when the Renault Kangoo first came out, this one I got in end 2004 is so much more reliable and I can get about 19km/l in combined driving.

The Renault Kangoo 1.5TD is a good van, like the cabin space ladder racks are usefull allthough noisy on motorways punchy engine reasonable fuel economy good spec including c/d player but just wish van manufacturers would fit a/c as standard, excellent sparks- van would recomend.
