It's an ideal tripod for hand held camcorder.
The Slik U 8000 tripod is lightweight and compact in carry position, that lets you take it in long trips.
It has great design and its value/money is really good. I paid for 260NIS (less than 60$).
Tripod is suitable for photo cameras and video camcorders, it has all basic positions that amateur photographer needs.
Because of plastic parts I would not recommend it for heavy SLR's with big lenses.
Really great tripod for its price. I think its design is the best in the class.
