Hello, I Went To The Resort On An Exchange With Rc

Hello, I went to the resort on an exchange with RCI and I must say its one of the nicest resorts I have been to. It is very well organised and the staff are all very nice and helpful without seeming creepy and false. Its in a very handy location, there is nothing I didnt like about the resort. I will be back there for sure. I very highly recommend the resort.

We Found Las Brisas By Chance And We Are Glad We D

We found Las Brisas by chance and we are glad we did !! Excellent location within a short walk into town. Pool area is excellent and it was very clean. The bar has food all day and the pizzas were lovely. The bar also has entertainment at night - our favourite was Allan Day on a Sunday, great singer and he sang all the swing stuff ! We will be back, can't wait really!!

I Own A Fortnight In One Of The Two Bed Timeshared

I own a fortnight in one of the two bed timeshared bungalows and apart from the sole bad point mentioned above, I have nothing bad to say about Las Brisas. As one of the oldest developments in Playa Blanca (18 or 19 years old) it still looks as fresh as the day it was built - only the plants have grown a bit!!) The office staff are helpful and the housekeeping staff good as well.

mercifully inflatable are only allowed in the pool for two clearly defined hours a day and you are specifically not allowed to "reserve" sunbeds, there is an ample sufficiency of beds for EVERYONE, they are never ever all full. It is ridiculous to see grown men and women huddling on a sunbed at 8am (sun's not even up then) clutching a morning fruit juice that someone has brought them from the bungalow)...

My recommendation is don't eat in the bar on site, get out and try the island's many restaurants, and Tapas bars - the ones on the Playa Blanca harbour and beach front are OK but nothing special. Chinese? can get that at home any time, Mexican? likewise. Steak house - ditto.

Hire a car or you'll be stranded in Playa Blanca unless you use the local buses.

Despite the hype, the Papagayo beaches are nothing special and not worth the paltry 3 euros they charge for access. I won't tell you my favourite places - find your own! :-)) The landscape may be "barren" but it varies amazingly from side to side and end to end of the island, and has a beauty all of its own.

I love the island but have seen the tourist industry grow from around 250,000 per annum to over 1.5m - Thankfully most of them seem to prefer to stay in Puerto del Carmen and Costa Teguise and not explore further than the nearest bar or fish n chip shop.....oh well, that's good. fewer people to spoil my enjoyment of this unique, vital and absorbing island and people.

you just sound a right miserable person. las brisas and playa blanca are both lovely, so you need to stop putting people off by your negative views.

I Booked Las Brisas On The Internet After Deciding

I booked Las Brisas on the internet after deciding on Playa Blanca as our destination. The accommodation was booked through the time travellers website ( they sell and buy timeshare resale's and manage rentals). The Las Brisas complex is a tropical oasis in the barren Lanzarote landscape with mature palms and plants to provise luxurious surroundings to the pool area. The pool is freshwater and heated with easy access for children and people with limited mobility. The bungalows are spacious and well equipped ...sky TV, washer, full oven, and microwave, fridge freezer (CD's and video players in some). there is an onsite bar and restaurant for drinks and snacks throughout the day which has a good choice and is good value for money for the times you don't feel like wandering down to the harbour restaurants (all of 5 mins walk!!!) the bar staff are friendly and Las Brisas is well located for all the amenities of Playa Blanca.. no more than a 15 min stroll to any of the 3 local beaches of which Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo are ideal for families with small children. There is ample choice of Harbour side restaurants which are all good value(try the great world if you want a good Chinese.... one of the first restaurants as you stroll along the harbour side with excellent views of the ferries coming in form Fuerteventura. Meals ranged from about 30 to 55 euros for 3 adults and one child including drinks so can't complain about the prices. All in all Playa Blanca is excellent for families and young and older couples alike and I would highly recommend Las Brisas (total cost for our break in spacious 2 bed semi-detached bungalow was 1400 including flights (booked through Flight line) transfers (arranged through canal travel) for two weeks!!! p. s. weather is excellent in July.. high temps of around the mid eighties but always a cooling breeze...
