Have Just Returned From Two Wonderful, Relaxing We

Have just returned from two wonderful, relaxing weeks.

The accommodation was suitable for two adults and two teenagers.

The staff, from receptionist, to bar staff to the cleaners were all so friendly.

Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Just wish we were able to bring back some of the glorious sunshine!!

Overall, A Very Good Place To Stay, Just Watch Out

Overall, a very good place to stay, just watch out for the breeze from the sea as it lulls you in to thinking it is not as hot as it is. When I went in late August early September, it was well into the forties.

Just Arrived Back From 2 Fabulous Weeks. The Malem

Just arrived back from 2 fabulous weeks. The Maleme Mare Beach Resort Hotel is well recommended and I would definitely go again. The studios/apartments are very clean and quite large (we had 2 adults, 1 teenager and a baby in a travel cot, all in a studio, and we managed quite nicely). We were met by the manager and staff (even though we had arrived in the early hours of the morning, due to a 7 hour delay!), they had a drink waiting for us all and we were helped with our luggage to the accommodation. The property is located right on the beach front, it's a quiet area with a few good tavernas close by, particularly the Estia, excellent staff and a large and varied menu. There is a taverna at the property itself and the food here is good, but the menu is quite small so you would soon get bored if you chose to eat here every night. We were treated to a Greek night, which was good value for money at 18 euros per adult and 9 euros per child for all the dancing/music (which lasted for a few hours) and an all you can eat Greek buffet. We hired a car for a few days, which is well recommended as you can get to see some really lovely places. All in all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing 2 weeks, not recommended if you like bright lights and music bars, try Platanyas a few miles up the road for that!
