San Stefanos, Thomas Bay Hotel

I would go back to Thomas Bay Hotel. Very restful, no kids, first class pool, the condor bar over the street has good acts on every second night.

Thomas Bay Hotel is in San Stephanos, a nice quiet resort, it has enough tavernas that you could eat at a different one for a 14 day holiday. there is one bar facing the hotel that is open untill 4am, the noise from this bar is not heard from the hotel so dont let this put you off, i dont often go back to the same place twice but this is a hotel i would retun to.

We booked our stay at the Thomas Bay Hotel as a last minute holiday, looking for the opportunity to relax in the sunshine and de-stress. San Stefanos is a lovely, small resort consisting of several small bars, restaurants and tavernas - not too commercialised and no high rise hotels. Having read several reviews of Thomas Bay Hotel and the resort before we departed for our holiday, we feel that we got exactly what we had expected - a clean, friendly hotel in a quiet resort.

The rooms are basically furnished, the hotel has a good sized swimming pool, the staff are friendly and the food pleasant - set menu, mostly Greek dishes and some traditional British choices for those that can't do without. Breakfast is a choice of fruit salad, cereal or Greek yoghurt and honey plus toast/bread. The breakfast choice did get a little boring, but for 2 Euros you can opt for a cooked breakfast.

The sandy beach is just a short walk away, and it offers beautiful views - sunset is stunning!

The resort livens up in the evening, and if you choose to eat out there is a good selection of restaurants to choose from.

The hotel provides entertainment each evening - bingo, karaoke, quiz night etc., or you can spend the evening in one of the local bars, many of which offer traditional Greek dancing, karaoke or live bands - the Greek speaking Elvis impersonator has to be seen to be believed!

Would we go back to this hotel? Definitely.

Thomas Bay Hotel is an amazing location for a couple or family, young or old, who wishes a simple and relaxing holiday with nothing to worry about but sunbathing and swimming. The hotel is extremely friendly and clean. All members of staff were welcoming and worked to an exceptional standard. Though only there for a week, the waiters were so friendly we felt we really got to know them. Highly recommended for any couple. The scenery is amazing aswell and the location runs to the relaxing Greek lifestyle. p.s eating the locally made yoghurt and honey is recommended!
