This hair dye does NOT cover grey hair

Terrible..turned my hair a grey/blue.. I saw it turning grey while I was waiting for the dye to take, thought it might be due to the ash tones in it.. i rinsed it out after 15 mins but the grey tone is still there.. mortified!

Rubbish!! Do not use!! Used shade 7 - dark blonde to darken my hair by one shade however it has now gone completely dark brown, I am very disappointed and will not be using this brand again!

First time I have ever used this brand. I went from dark brown to what looks like I poured Hawaiian punch on my head. It stained my scalp also. I am so frustrated because every single time I get my hair wet, the color comes out. It is now day 8 since I colored my hair and the color still is coming out. Never again will I purchase this brand. I should've stuck with Excellence Crème by Lorel.

I am writing a review on the Foam Hair color 61G; iced medium Brown. I have colored my hair for many, many years. This product has been the best I have ever tried. It colors evenly from the roots; it does not appear lighter at the roots, like so many other products I have used. The color is so natural; my hair honestly looks like it is not colored. It is a little messy, but it is not an issue, as I have never been more satisfied with the outcome. I highly endorse this product.

I recently tried another product, which I do on occasion just to compare and I am rushing out this weekend to buy my usual #460, Deep Intense Red. It covers all of my gray and stays colored longer. What was I thinking when I tried another product? This is the best color that I have ever used and I get many compliments on my hair.

Garnier foam colour gets a "3" because the end result was good but overall I didn't like to use it. The application process is much more challenging than the liquid colour application because unlike the liquid for which a gentle squeeze is required to nurse the product out into a bead, the bottle for the foam is too large fit between bottom of palm and index finger to squeeze the foam out. The gloves become slippery and the bottle hard to hang on to. I usually use a comb in my left hand and the bottle in my right, parting and applying at 1/4" separations. With the foam I had to drop the comb after every part and hang on to the bottle with both hands and then squeeze it out. The foam does not always come out in a continuous stream so you may get places that you have to go back and fill in the line. When you apply this two-handed operation on the back of your head, you're not confident that you're really getting it on. It does not drip but neither does the liquid if you bead it on. Overall, product is a thumbs down for me and I will not buy it again.

Please please be careful when using Garnier Nutrisse Truly Blonde, I was only doing my roots as I had done my hair 5 weeks ago with the shade that lightens up to 8 times, but it came out too blonde for me, so i decided to just use the same product but only lighten it 4.5 shades, what I didnt notice in small writing on the box was it saying it is a very ash blonde....i tend to stay away from Ash colours but didnt notice this...all I noticed was in big writing that it lightens up to 4.5 tones, this needs to be highlighted more to save other people's hair turning out an Ashy blue colour like me....I have washed and washed my hair but its not fading, I will have to go out and find another colour to put on top, as I look ridiculous...and no, I dont have money to pay a hairdresser. I have always done my own hair for over 30 years, had a few minor disasters over the years but nothing like this!

I had to go to the hospital 3 days after using a nutrisse product. It started off light itching, now my face and neck are on fire. Doctors gave my steroids and antibiotics for the open pussing sores on my head and neck. I hope this gets better and stops spreading or I will have to return to hospital. I don't have the money for this. Its funny I got the dye on discount to try the new product. Sucks!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!. Large Hospital Fees.!!!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT EVEN GIVE THE NO STAR REVIEW I WANT TO GIVE SO IM FORCED TO GIVE IT A 1. THIS PRODUCT IS NEGATIVE FOR ME

I have thick, medium-dark hair. I decided to save a few bucks and try out this foam color instead of my usual John Freida. First thing I noticed about this product was the strong smell. Then, that the foam really wasn't very "foamy", and made multiple puddles on my floor! Let me first say that I have been coloring my own hair for years without incident. I waited the specified time, and began washing out the color. I noticed that my hair was super dry. I mean, way, way worse than it has ever been. The conditioner did not improve the texture, so I used a hair mask before I got out of the shower. Hair is still a dry mess. As for the color, it's decent at best. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. I spend ample time on my hair to keep it healthy, shiny, and soft. One use of this product reversed all of that. Spend the extra 5 bucks and get the John Freida foam. I will stick to it from now on!

My hair is naturally dark auburn, so I just wanted to hided my very light gray. Thought the foam would be fail-safe. I followed the directions extremely carefully because I'm new at this. The left side of my hair is dark red and the right side is orange-y red. I've washed my hair 4 times since and it's not getting better. Heading to the salon this afternoon to have it fixed. Seriously, the color of clown hair. Ridiculous.

I bought this product to try instead of my normal hair dye. I was going to a party that evening and wanted to give myself a boost and cover a few grey hairs. My hair is very dark blonde to light brown. This was awful, came out super super dark and very patchy all over and in one side almost a square half way down my shoulder length hair was lighter than the rest - much lighter. I have washed and washed and tried everything possible but it is still super dark and patchy. I color my hair on a regular basis and have never had any problem. I suppose I just need to wait until it fades and fortunately can tie my hair up to disguise most of the damage but will never buy this product again.

The colour doesn't last as for a permanent hair dye, washes out after 1-3 washes. Leaves hair dried out and brassy. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Terrible product and awful customer service! I bought an ash blonde colour, which made my hair go dark brown. I contacted them via their website to express my dissatisfaction. It's been 4 weeks now and I have still had no reply from them. Will not be using their hair colour product again

I just colored Dark Intense Auburn (color R1)yesterday and this is the worst experience I've ever had with hair coloring. I've rinsed for over 4 hours in the past 2 days and the color is still coming out all over my towels after towel drying my hair. Gave me a chemical burn as well- this product is awful.

I bought the extra light camomile shade to lighten my hair as I wanted to dye it back to blonde. It says on the box it can lighten hair up to 4 shades WITHOUT the need of a prelightner. HOW WRONG IS THAT!!! My hair was only a light to mid brown before now it's auburn with blonde roots. I followed the instructions on the packet and it didn't take as well on the lenghts and ends of my hair so I left it on for longer before doing my roots. I only had the dye on my roots for 2 minutes instead of the 5 mins as instruced. This was because I noticed the difference in colour early on. I had had to put a slightly darker blonde dye on to even it out a bit but its still red. I now need to pay to have it stripped at a hairdressers which is money I shouldn't be spending. In future Garnier should still recommend the use of a pre lightner even for the extra light shade as it doesn't lighten brown hair like it shows on the box.

I've been going to my salon for several years, and whilst I was always pretty pleased with the results, the cost was a bit factor in looking at an alternative. I was faced with 2 choices - either accept my boring, thin and rapidly-advancing grey hair (preferred by husband, doesn't see what all the fuss is about), or take the brave plunge and do a home colourant. It took me a couple of trips to the chemist to weigh up which brand and which colour, and eventually went for Garnier Nutrisse in Aphrodite, a really pretty blonde similar to the colour my hair is at its best. I chose this because Davina McColl seems to like it, the cost was really reasonable and it's a very well-known brand. I was terrified while it was developing (am I going to end up with orange hair? Or maybe it will all break off?)but once developed, rinsed, conditioned (fab conditioner, by the way) and dried, I was really, really pleased with the result. Gorgeous. Best it has looked in years. Will definitely use again!

Put color over blonde as wanted to be a golden brown. Hair went dark copper brown and looks phoney color. Never use this make again ever. I didn't like anything about this product Now I have to pay to get rid of it.

Wish I had read these reviews about the product before I tried it. The same thing has happened to me. My blond hair is now a sludge dark brown and my head is itchy and sore. I have phoned my hairdresser but she tells me that there is nothing they can do while my scalp is sore and itching.
Disgusting product, keep well away from it.

I've home dyed my hair many many times and picked the shade 3.6 deep red brown for a nice rich tone. After carefullyfollowing the instructions I applied colour etc. After blow-drying I discovered the colour of my hair was actually purple. Couldn't go to work with purple hair and had to get it stripped by a professional hairdresser and re coloured. Not a cheap process. Not only that I appear to have suffered a reaction with itchy skin and eyes. Will not be using this product again.

This product is awful. It shouldhave written light brown on the box instead of dark blonde , it is very far from being blonde, just ridiculas.
I never recommend it never ever !!! I wish I bought my own color and brand. Or I should have gone my hairdresser!! I am so upset because my bleach and my lovely color is gone ;(
