Quiet Part Of Sidari
We stayed here for two weeks and returned 11th October 2012. Nice clean room, in a basic style as per usual Greek apartments. The maid comes in daily to empty loo bin, mop floors and make beds which is great as when I have stayed in Greece before you are lucky if they visit every other day. Sheets changed twice a week and so are the towels.
The breakfast is cooked to perfection and is very good value (approx 3.50-4 euros) you will receive the full monty, with tea or coffee and juice. A great start to the day.
Pool and surrounds kept lovely and clean.
Yiannis dog Max the dog is absolutely gorgeous, never seen such a sprightly hound at 15 years old!
Hotel is at a quiet part of Sidari, a pleasant walk to the bars and restaurants but make sure your shoes are comfy.
Hotel and resort very quiet at this time of year as it was end of season, some of the bars and restaurants shut on our second week. Beware of drink deals along the main strip, if they offer you two for the price of one, we generally found all they do is share one shot between two glasses so you are not really getting a deal at all, just more mixer!
Found supermarkets to be very expensive to get a few bits and bobs so beware! we spent far more than budgeted for, the Euro is so bad at the moment and you can see how Greece is suffering with being taxed so heavily.

Found staff to be friendly and helpful. Smaller rooms basic but clean. Larger apartments that our friends had very good. Excellent Pool Area and Gardens well kept. Expensive shop on site, though 10 minute walk to 2 supermarkets. Quiet area but only 10 minutes walk to main strip. Air Conditioning should be included in price as it would have been impossible to stay in apartment without it. At least it was quiet and cooled rooms very quickly. Air Conditioning an extra 30 Euros per week per unit (1 in bedroom and 1 in lounge), our first floor apartment was unbearably hot on arrival so paid 120 Euros for 2 weeks stay. Beds made only sometimes by maids. Cosmos Rep was useless and seemed bored with her job. 25 minute walk to Beach.

I have just come back from Yiannis today- What a week!
Over all apartments were clean but the toilets were not!
Very expensive area, the following prices are in Euros.
Larger 3.50, Bacon 3.45, Butter 2.75, Bread 2.00
You can get these things slightly cheaper but you need a car to travel to the other areas. The apartments are okay but very basic.
Lovely area not to far to walk into the centre (10 minutes) and I hate walking! The bar staff are rude and unfriendly but the owner is lovely! The pool area is clean but again loo's are not nice!
We paid £500 for the week and would not go again.
I have a 12 year old and there is nothing to do here (pool table is 1.50 Euro per game!)

I Thoroughly Enjoyed My Week's Stay In Yiannis Apa
I thoroughly enjoyed my week's stay in Yiannis Apartments. Yiannis, Costa and all other bar and cleaning staff were friendly, approachable and made the holiday very enjoyable. The pool was very clean and quiet, which made for a very relaxing holiday. The accommodation was basic but cleaned daily, so was clean. We had a few meals in the room, so the slightly lacking kitchen facilities didn't bother us whatsoever.
Sidari itself is a beautiful place and screams of Greece! There are traditional Greek tavernas littered along the main strip and also into the main resort of Sidari, which is very noisy and a little intimidating, to say the least. Sidari has something to offer everyone, whether you're a family, a couple or a young group looking for mad nights out, which don't end until 6 in the morning! What you're looking for depends upon the location but I'm sure everyone would have a great time there.
The locals are lovely people and I'd go back to Sidari and Yiannis Apartments in a flash!
