I have been buying some expensive small brewery beers. Recently started buying Pabst. I like the way it foams when poured into a cold glass. I like the amber color. It has a refreshing flavor and goes down smooth. Its really refreshing to drink. I think its much better than most Micro Brews. I was drinking Yuengling which is really a good beer. Now its Pabst. There is nothing about it I don't like. Price is great, taste is great, and it comes in a classic great looking can. Before I bought Pabst I had remembered I had drunk some years ago and liked it. Glad I gave it another look.

I have been beer drinker for 30 years but never tried Pabst for some reason. I was surprised at the clean crisp taste and the affordable price. Pabst Blue Ribbon is my favorite new beer!

Pabst Blue Ribbon is the best beer made in America. It is delicious and smooth, and also it's cheap. I wouldn't drink anything else!

Pabst Blue Ribbon (or as it's more affectionately called P.B.R.) is an institution in most bars. It's reasonably priced, but the taste is not the best for me. It's the "Unofficial Beer of Portland (Oregon)," but truthfully I cannot fathom how people can drink this.

Wish you could buy this in the UK. Great, cheap refreshing beer.

Like most others I would have never bought a Pabst. But recently I stopped my new friends house and he turned me on to one.I can say from that day on I have never bought another 12 pack of coors light. This beer now stocks my fridge.I still buy my imports, and whats even cooler is anybody that comes over to drink my beer doesn't like it. Cool Im not supporting there habits anymore. Most people will turn there nose up to this beer, but on the west coast of so. cal this beer is now becoming alot more visable. Sorry coors but its time for a new friend.P.S. this beer gives you a good buzz.

Pabst Blue Ribbon is my beer of choice when I'm not sipping (read: guzzling) my favorite micro-brew. I'll go get myself a 30 pack and start in the morning and enjoy the hell out of the strong grain flavor of this wheat lager. It's nice to actually taste the grain in the beer. Sure, it takes a lot to get drunk, but for most people 30 of these should work for the day. Personally, if I go all day I need 2 of them though, mostly because one needs to start in the morning. You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

Pabst Blue Ribbon is very thick, syrup-like. Strong, but lacking good flavor.

Some may shun this old man's beer. But maybe your old man was smarter than you thought. Yes it is cheap, but damn it is tasty. It is smooth and refreshing, with no after taste. No wonder it won a Blue Ribben oh so long ago.

Bertie's Response to Blixa99's Review

Blixa99......Don't ever be discouraged by the seven persons who disagreed with your chosen tipple. All tastes are just that - tastes, and I hope you long continue to enjoy a brew that I, being a couple of thousand miles removed from you, have not sampled and therefore cannot sensibly comment on.
