Having taken delivery of a sofa on Wed last week,chair was missing, after waiting since August complained to customer services complete waste of time no help so went to local shop in Crewe. One of the salesmen said he would ring to find out when they could deliver. Was told Sunday definatly. Well that was soon changed had a call at 4.30 pm Sat evening telling us it was cancelled, tried to call back call centre closed, was supposed to be open till 5 . Ordered a 3 seater sofa and chair in August, first delivery date 11 November this came and went. Next delivery date at the end of November came and went. New delivery date 12 Dec came and went. To add insult to injury the goods were delivered today and half the order was missing. No chair. We’ve just had exactly the same experience. What should have been a 9 week wait is now 17 weeks. They turned up today and only had our three seater settee loaded and have no idea where the two seater has got to. We ordered in August and the delivery now won’t be until the new year. I turned the three seater away. They are a shambles. I will be complaining to the ombudsman and will use your review as evidence that my experience isn’t a one off but common practice.

I won’t ever buy anything from this lot again

“Money Grabbing - Dont care about you if somethign goes...”

Absolutely terrible quality sofa's and customer service. How you can sell 4 year finance for a product that only lasts one year i will never know. The recliner on our sofa broke a few weeks after the 12 month guarantee ran out. Simple fix - the retaining spring has bent out of shape and therefore come out of its placeholder. Awful sofas, they look nothing like the one you chose in store!! We have had two delivered in the last 5 months and both sofas were broken before they got through the door, the second one was checked and unwrapped on the street cos the delivery guys thought there may be a problem? As soon as you pay your money Harvey’s are not interested in communicating with you as a customer, no service, no questions answered, late arrival of our sofa and no apology, we hired a van to collect a sofa we were told to collect and it wasn’t even in the country. Terrible customer service. If you have a fault with your product, if our experience is anything to go by, it will not get resolved by Harvey’s. Having read a number of reviews since it appears this is a common issue with products sold that develop faults within 1 year of purchase. Will certainly be taking our business elsewhere in the future. Poor customer service, poor products and engineers that are sent to review that tell stories to your face. After waiting 2 months for a delivery I was called 24hrs prior to the arranged delivery date to call them, on doing so the next morning I was asked to again arrange a date, I informed that my table was due that day. “Poor quality”

We ordered two sofas and a foot stool. Both sofas had faults in the fabric and they delivered the wrong foot stool which was also faulty. Refused to replace sofas - we had to have a report from an independent person - he said he was going to write report, I left the room and he cut off the lumpy threads! Seat cushions sagged after a couple of weeks and we're not particularly heavy people! We bought sofas and 2 arm chairs from Harvey’s, they looked squished and untidy after just a year of having them, no matter how many times you tidy or fluff them up. I rang customer service to explain that our arm chair cushion was particularly squished and rarely sat on to which they replied that I would have to pay someone to come out and review this! It is really disappointing that a simple product which was to be delivered in December/January is now finally ready in March but it will take another three weeks to deliver it. This is the worst service ever. My delivery cancelled three times, even though ordered late December they could not make their third agreed delivery of 11th April. At that point I lost all confidence in them and cancelled. So delivery problems seem quite typical for them

We signed the document and went home and following we though 14 weeks (3.5month) I stood long as we needed badly. they told us we made the order if we want to cancel to call in n24hours time, otherwise, there will be charge if we want to cancel.
