This ball is a fantastic training ball for passing skills and contact skills and comes at a great price. The Gilbert XT400 is a good price and you get great grip with it. I dont think its robust enought though… Read Full Review

We use this ball at my club and I find it difficult to kick well consistently, For drop kicks it is difficult to get to bounce straight and to kick out of hand it is difficult to find the sweet spot. It almost as if the ball does not fall without tumbling, resulting in a slight miskick.

The Gilbert XT400 was given to me as a present for my birthday. I tried the ball straight after I got it and found the ball could be passed easily. But because of the shape of the ball and the pointed end, the ball did not bounce straight back up when drop kicking. Over all I would recommend this ball for beginners or lower league rugby where kicking is not allowed… Read Full Review
