It Was My Second Car. Im In Bands And Its Perfect
it was my second car. Im in bands and its perfect for moving gear around. not a quick car off the line but will sit at 85mph on the motorway all day! great fuel consumption, will do 340 miles to a tank! looks great , better than a golf i think. had a problem with rear foot wells collecting water, was door seals, was a quick fix but that's a regular problem apparently! likes to eat breaks but probably just my driving, great car for people on a budget , great to drive , dam cheap insurance! would recommend to people like my self ,a student who wants a great looking car and a cheap one to run!

I've had my Seat Leon 1.4 for over 2 years now. Overall I've been pleased with it. The 1.4 engine does struggle to lug this heavy lump of a car around, but as a cheap, reliable motor, I can't really fault it. It has had a few faults, but the local dealer (in Uddingston) fixed them all under warranty so it hasn't been a problem. Basically it's a VW Golf, but it looks better. The only thing I would change would be more interior pockets and shelves, and a bigger engine. But we bought it because at the time we needed something cheap to run and reliable and on that criteria it can't be faulted.

The Seat Leon 1.4 S is plasticky, it could have bigger door shelves and some in the back, and perhaps behind the drivers seat a place for papers.
I don't like the gear box, in the first month the linkage went, it had to go to the garage to be fixed. I wasn't satisfied with this and told them that it was still difficult to change to 3rd gear from 4th and sometimes 2nd. All in all the gear box is rubbish. I wouldnt buy another. I have a LEMON of a car. To top it all now the interier lights on the panel don't work!!!!!!
I have to say, if you had bought the Peugeot 307xsi I did and had half the problems and breakdowns I had, you would have something to moan about.
