Ulta sold me expired product. It was green. St Tropez needs to instruct their distributors to not sell expired product. Absolutely ridiculous. So much for wearing a dress on this extremely hot day for a birthday party. Very disappointed.

I have used every tanning product so I was hesitant. I'm 50 and blond. My skin needs extra moisterizing, which is my problem with tanning products. The color is a beautiful brown tint.no streaking, which i apply with my hand. The smell is very pleasant. I have to apply 3 to 4 days. The compliments I get are amazing! I feel 10 years younger and hides my cellulite! It's worth every penny! The only thing to be careful with is rub thoroughly and exfoliate before use!

I heard this was the best, I'm not so sure! Went in friends pool and I came out of pool with no tan! Yes, I followed all directions for use and was so disappointed !!

I would think for 42$ I could at least get a decent tan with this product but it was just awful! I can't believe this product would have ANY good reviews there's something really strange about that. Not once have this tanner where my skin hasn't turned into a gross dirty looking orange color with dark brown streaks and blotches! Thats not all, this product will darken your skin impurities making them more noticeable and dries almost immediately making it impossible to blend. The self tanner I got from the drug store for 7$ was 100 times better than this. Great way to throw away your money. It might be an alright product if you wanna look like Snookie!

I have had many spray tans in Australia previously and never had any problems but after coming to the UK to get married i've had to test out something new. St Tropez was recommended as a natural looking tan especially if you have pale skin, which I do. I left it on for the recommended 9 hours but was horrified to find it left a very orange colour all over me, especially on my legs and did not look natural at all. I had been told the colour would not go darker than your skin could tan but my colour was much darker and horrible. It also bleached my dressing gown and towels, even though i was assured it would wash off fabric, will definitely not be using it again.

There isn't much to say, I really like this system. It gets the job done, and for such a price that it pretty much what you are looking for in it.

There are better self tanners out there! Do your research! I found a great spray one for 15 dollars! St, Tropez is expensive and the application process is messy! Save yourself the money on spray tans and fancy at home tanners! Instead, go to that huge black and white beauty store and get yourself their spray tanner for 15 dollars!

I managed a tanning salon for three years and vowed never to use a tanning lotion, spray, or mousse because of the orange streaky look it gave the anti-tanning salon users. After quitting the salon due to a pregnancy I couldn't bare to be pale so I searched feverishly for a spray or lotion that didn't turn my skin orange or streaky. After many trips to Sephoras and Cvs's and hundreds of wasted dollars I finally found my dream cream. I've tried every product out there, I swear. St Tropez was given to me as a sample at Sephoras while I was buying another self-tanning product, after my first use I returned my

I bought the st tropez spray. I have heard good things about it and they use st tropez in quite a few beauty shops. It was very easy to apply, the spray gives a good even coating. It doesnt smell like usual self tanners. It has a pleasant perfumed smell but it can be quite strong and i had to open a few windows. I was not pleased at all with the colour. I looked very tanned after a nights sleep with the tan on and in the morning i got in the shower to wash off the 'excess/colour guide' and i was the same colour as i was before i put the tan on. To get even a tiny change in colour i have to apply this tan several days in a row. I think it is a very expensive product considering how much i have to use to get a tan. I wouldnt be too bothered with the price, if it gave me good results after one or two applications. I have gone back to using natural tan which is my favourite. it is only £4.95 and gives brilliant results.

I invested in this Tan because i was going to an important party and wanted something to give me a realistic and even tan.
It did anything but it was hard to blend and if you didnt rub a tan line fast enough it setted as a dark dirty line.
I found it a waste of time and money.
Seriously I am going back to my Sally Hanson Airbrush Legs. Half the price and ten times better.

I'd read the reviews on this website for the St Tropes Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, and only a few were bad so I made sure I exfoliated and moisturised before application. I'm a teenager and I'm self conscious about my legs in physical ed, so I thought this product would help me overcome this, it did not!
It was quite easy to apply, I used latex gloves, and it looked quite orangey when put on but I'd read you wash the 'colour guide' off to reveal a beautiful brown colour. Maybe it was my application or the mousse? But the colour hadn't changed, and also when I put perfume on, the tan rubbed off so I had a white patch on my neck.
Yes, the tan does last for a few days, but flakes off. I put it on another few times but the colour hadn't improved. Took me a good shower with exfoliating gloves, shower gel and toothpaste to get it all off!
Unless you want an orange tan, I don't recommend this product. I'm sure people will disagree with me but I didn't find it how I thought it would turn out.
I spent £20 on this when I could have bought some new clothes, but my bad. What I suggest is love yourself for who you are, you're still gorgeous without a tan. Peace out :-) x

i liked this product alot when i first put it on. i didnt see why people say its so messy. i understand that it is very colorful and like a mudbath at first but once it dries and i buff off with the buffing mit it doesnt come off on anything. today i put it on and afterwords i put on the white shirt. i had no problems. maybe it only comes off if you dont buff. also i showered the next day and it didnt look as good as when i dried and buffed. but i love it because i can put it on before going to the movies or somewhere fun and it dries and looks so dark and natural after i buff. the only downside to me is that after you take a shower it fades and looks orange. i do love this product though. oh and i use the st tropez lotion, polisher, selfless tanning lotion, and buffing mitt. looks great once blended.

I use only the tanning mousse. the beauty of this is that it can be applied to face and all over body. (unlike some other products where you need to buy different face and body tans). The result of St Tropez is a good, even, streakless tan. i apply my tan every 4-5 days and a bottle will last for months, meaning great value for money.
would recommend definite exfoliating and moisturising if applying to elbows, knees and feet area.
the tan only takes 4 hours to develop, but if you want a deeper and better colour, i would recommend applying it before you go to bed at night and washing it off in the morning. be sure to cover sheets/pillows so as not to stain them.

This St Tropez Tanning System product produces a beautiful golden color tan on my very fair skin. I exfoliated and applied with gloves and it turns out beautifully after you shower. I also made sure that I exfoliated. However, after about a week and two applications, the tan did not fade evenly, I look like I am molting and it looks awful with my own natural color and sploches of the tanned skin. does anyone have this problem? My legs looked like it had that skin disease where portions of the skin is lighter than others in blotches. Of course it goes away after a few days with scrubbing.

I've tried tons of self tanners, but I like this one in particular because you can buy it in a set - makes it more likely you will do the before exfoliation and after moisturising process and therefore have better results!
St. Tropez also had darker and quicker results than some of the other self tanners I've used.
You can buy the kit at http://www.shop.co.uk/43378/instant-tanning-system-trial-size-st.-tropez-st6000
This is a trial size so perfec to find out whether you like it or not!

I love the color and being able to see where I am blending the lotion is great due to the bronzer. my skin looks very hydrated from the time I put it on to a few days later. There really isn't much smell, I have bought many bottles of the St. Tropez and will continue since I haven't found one that I like better!
