had a car written off. brought another one same year lower spec (original car a sport) new car same year and model but lower spec got charged an extra £44 because it was a higher risk according to them, accident was a non fault claim and it took us three phone calls as they initially said the extra £44 was because the other side had not admitted liability, they admitted liability to me in 24hours of the accident by phone, text and email. awful customer service made to feel that we were in… Read Full Review

They will accept liabiloty even if you are not at fault!! Waiting 6 weeks and my car has still not been insepcted by anyone let alone repaired. My car renewal was due this month , 37% increase ,I questioned this and was told live in a bad claims area which is the same area when I took the policy out , and that tax had gone up. Rang today 18/05/2017 4pm to transfer my policy to a new vehicle. The customer service guy was extremely rude and disrespectful. He belittled you and deliberately talking in a way that you could hardly follow. I still couldn't believe it happened in this industry. Shame on you. “Windsren claim not settled in 2 months”

Simple - windscreen chip - still not settled after 2 months, I got the claim agreed with number got the work done but I can't get paid. I've phoned 3 times, emailed 4 times and now I'm up to "the cheques in the post should be with you in 10 days". I don't believ it - I've been put on hold for 10 mins, transferred lots of times - even when I've been given a phone number to call. “Awful experience after lorry crashed into me.”

I was involved in a crash, a lorry couldn't stop on a single lane road. Firstly Privilege cost a fortune to call. I've spent over 20 pounds in calls to them. You will be kept on hold for a long time. I was told they were unable to get hold of the other driver. I managed to twice, first time. When i called to make a claim with Privilege they didnt call me back after me chasing for 2 days. They told me i would have to wait 2 weeks for an engineer to come and look at my vehicle!!!! When i was promised a call at 7am i called them at 9am, 10am and 4:30pm. But no one was able to help me as they on 'training' Ive never received a level of service like this. I am shocked. Seriously I have no idea where to begin with these complete and utter inept money grabbing clowns. They are the biggest disgrace of a company I have ever encountered. My car insurance was due for renewal but I knew I would be getting a new car within a month, I spoke to the renewals department who told me it would be around £30 to amend or cancel my policy, I was concerned they may not be the best quote so may not get my new policy with them.
