I Love Chinese

What a amazing eating venue! I'd been afraid that on the Saturday night time it could be crowded and so less than comfortable, yet it wasn't when I paid a visit, I really had the delight of being able to take a look around personally and talk easily with my company.

The wine list was interesting and the bar people particularly educated and warm and friendly. I can't wait to get back there and try out more food or conduct a wine sampling.

Incredible!!

I don’t agree with the last comments at all. I have visited the Peking Garden in the wonderful surroundings of Epping on many occasions and after months of consideration, it is without doubt the best chinese in the world.

After reviewing my history of dining in chinese restaurants (which I can tell you is a grand total of 11) I have to say that the food at Peking Garden is superb and the wait for a menu was better than superb, it was magnificent. I’ve never been given a menu so quickly – world class.

I particularly enjoyed the upstairs entertainment, what a happy ending!! Kaboom…

I Have Been Going To This Restaurant For So Many Y

I have been going to This Restaurant for so many years i cannot remember, but our last visit last friday was a shocker.

The Staff are quite simply the rudest people i have encountered in any resturant.

We booked a table for 10, and were the first to arrive, after 20 minute standing by the bar trying to get a waitress' attention, i was told we were sitting "over there" and was left to find our seat, and then spent 60 minutes waiting for drinks, we must of asked each waitress 10 or 15 times for our drinks, in the end i walked up to the manager and asked why we are waiting an hour to be served, and he just looked at me up and down, and ignored me and served someone else.....unreal.

We had to beg for the menus, so after an 8.30 table, we left at midnight.

The food was ok, but the service was so bad, that we will never go back.

It's a shame as we travelled 20 miles and have such fond memories of the Peking Garden of old, but the manager needs to learn one huge lesson..learn some basic manners.NEVER AGAIN.

The Food At The Peking Garden In Epping Is Wonderf

The food at the Peking Garden in Epping is wonderfully cooked and of excellent quality. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and service is always very good. I don't think we have ever had a meal that was anything other than wonderful here - and we eat here a lot!

Possibly the best Chinese restaurant in Essex, certainly good value for money.

The Food Here Is Standard Cantonese, As Well As So

The food here is standard Cantonese, as well as some regional Chinese fayre. Basically the menu contains everything you'd expect to see in a Chinese restaurant in Britain. The d cor is traditional and muted, if a little outdated. In fact, the Peking Garden restaurant hasn't really changed since the 1970's, when it was first established. However, it remains an enduring favourite with locals, who frequent it for its consistently high standards of food and level of efficiency. Admittedly, it is a little pricey, but highly recommended, with an exemplary reputation in the local area.
