We have a reasonable amount of experience with the FUSO FG 4x4 platform. Our company builds the EarthCruiser 4x4 campers and expedition vehicles here in the US. We also have a manufacturing facility in Australia, using the FG. Our experience has been great, our local dealer ( Redmond Or) was new to the product and has done we think an out standing job of getting up to speed with parts and service. The camper application is well suited to the FG in our opinion - more chassis re estate to work with, easy to drive and great driving position. There is the added advantage of an international chassis ( yes there are differences between countries) that should one wish to travel over seas in there camper , they can do so with the FUSO EarthCruiser.

I've had Canters since 2000 and currently have 7 ranging from 03 plates to 06 plates with 2 new ones on order and have had very little vaults compared
to other makes of pickups i run like a 54 plate transit 135 that had 2 full fuel systems and 1 engine with only 9500 miles on the clock plus various other problems. Although the transit and iveco pickups might be a more comfortable driving van there is nothing that comes even close to a canter for being an out and out work horse.
