Everything is good about this restraunt, especially now that it has been referbished, it is one of the nicest looking restraunts in the country, well atleat hoddesdon and broxbourne, their food is always hot and delicious, their is always good indian music playing in the background which i love, especially since iot is nice and calming... it has a great atmosphere, good smelling, food taste delicious, music is great and the staff are amazingly freindly… Read Full Review

Unlike a lot of new Indian restaurants, the Raj Mahal still has an Indian feel. There is normally some quiet Indian music in the background, and a friendly service. The food is top quality, and not the usual runny sauces you get in some Indian meals, and a litre of house Italian red wine is only about £10.
I've eaten in many Indian restaurants around the country, and I can safely say this is the best, and luckily it is only 10 minutes walk from my house.
