Excellent Place
I learnt to ride here and learnt all about owning and caring for your own horse. I went on to buy my own horses and land using the knowledge from here and come back here on a weekly basis for lessons. I used to have a freelance instructor come to me but now come to lanjeth, it is lovely in the winter for the indoor school and my dressage has really come along. They are also extending theit outdoor school to a 20x60 which is fab. He is very helpful and thorough and is not afraid to jump on board. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Was Only There A Year, Learnt So Much
I have only gone to this riding school for a year before heading off to college but they set me up perfectly for it. I have learnt more from them than I ever did at my previous riding school which I was at for 2 to 3 years and I volunteered at. They can be strict but it is a unpredictable sport on a large animal, can't complain about them wanting you to be safe. they teach at your pace so are not rushed into anything they feel may be too much for you, they specialize in dressage which I did like but did enjoy the gymkhana and jumping from time to time. very reasonable prices compared to other nearby schools

Best Riding School Ever!
I have been horse riding for 7 years. The owners can be strict but as I was always told you have to be cruel to be kind. This is the only riding school i have even been to. I go to own a pony days. It is just a amazing riding school! I would certainly recommend to anyone.
Never Go There
I had a couple of lessons at Lanjeth and would never step foot back on the place. The owners are very strict and make out they know what they are doing but I was just shoved up on a horse and led around whilst the lady talked the whole time. A complete waste of my time and money. They seemed to treat everyone like they are children and talk down to everyone.
Awful
About time the Owners of this place retired. They do not teach the children much and by all accounts they are not the nicest of people to deal with. I rode there for a while but have learnt much more since leaving. They are patronising and do not think you can do anything for yourself. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Super Riding School
Lanjeth Riding school taught me everything i know, i found as a child there could be some strictness within the teaching part but this encouraged me to progress further. I learned everything from dressage to jumping and all in between with them. As a child i also attended own a pony days which teach grooming, tacking up, mucking out and all the basics of horse care... these days are continued now within school holidays.
I now keep two ponies there, one now 4 they have helped me to break in and he is riding on well and a smaller pony for my 6 and 2 year old to ride and play with whenever they want, my 6 year old is hoping to attend her first show with this pony this year.

Owner Very Curt
I took my son for a private lesson, which was only his second in two years. He is only five. I had to lead the horse myself which i thought was wrong. My son got shouted at and spoken to in a very patronising manner. The lady spoke to me like i was a child myself. Horseriding should be fun. Lovely stables but poor owners. I am now taking him somewhere child friendly.
