Do not under any circumstances use B&Q`s Click & Collect service! I ordered three fence panels through the Click & Collect service recently. The website indicated the items were in stock so I paid for them via Paypal. I received a confirmation email fron B&Q stating that the items were ready for collection. “Refused Cash Refund”

I spent £219 and £170 on a gift card so £49 on my bank card. Returned items to the value of £40.16 and they refused to give me the money back onto my bankcard I had to have a credit voucher. No where in their returns policy does it state I was unable to have the money refunded to my bank card, but was informed by the Manager of the store. Poor customer service. “Awfull pricing structure”

In the last year I have been charged (or they have attempted to charge) the wrong amount on the label five times. When you complain to the staff they say the labels wrong, the managers are never available and the complaint department basically calls you a liar. “Customer service and hidden extras.”

Busy Saturday, 3 tills open at store 30 people queuing - Most stores seeing this would open another line especially as the self serve tills were closed. As I say MOST but good old B&Q Charlton actually closed a till instead. I wasn't surprised when 3 people seemed to return their products and walk out. “Terrible service - including the Complaints Dept .”

Had several issues with their kitchen with parts missing , parts not sent , and they processed an order, for and item that they didn't even stock any more . Just a horrible service, ordered stuff online and it was crucial that they arrive next day( our builders have tight schedule), I ordered items that it was said next day delivery available. I was surprised not to receive an email confirmation, as you normally do with all orders online. I called customers service next day, as I had no idea where the parcel is and when it will arrive. “Quality of £15000.00 installed kitchen ”

Installation took a total of 8 weeks (told 2) Plinth under one of the cupboards started to warp, end top panel not fitted correctly The hob was replaced, as ignition stopped working Double oven door exploded. went to buy some paint. it would appear the limited choice of colours that whomever orders their paint has a strong preference for certain colours and a dislike for others. the different coloured paints were randomly stacked on the shelves so I had to remove loads of cans to see what was behind. “Simply awful”

If it could go wrong it did. Late deliveries, missing parts, minimal response from Homefit centre, appliances broken, rude fitter helped himself to cups of tea and use of our Alexa. Fitter took on all the electrics despite not being qualified & against B&Q policy. Fitter drilled electrical cable and left us with a live light switch for a week, this could have caused a fatal accident. Complaint was dealt with poorly from the start to end. A very poor company that sells poorly designed and defective products at such expensive prices. B&Q are a rubbish company whom I would recommend to no one. Their products are the most rubbish in the world as they are poorly designed, not user friendly and defective. I bought a toilet and basin from them. “Nightmare experience”

Ordered new shower room which was fitted in February. Still having problems. The customer care team have a couldn't care less attitude. Space available was measured incorrectly. Goods either didn't arrive or were wrong. I had to constantly phone and chase them. The customer care team do not ring back as promised. The communication is absolutely non existent. I bought 2 tubs of paint from the Brandon Road Store in Coventry I noticed a few specs of paint on the handle so checked the seal to see if it was broken, it wasn't. I then placed the paint in my car and sat in the drivers seat and turned on my engine, I then noticed that my hand and dashboard were covered in paint. “Guarantee”

Bought a kitchen from these guys with a ten year guarantee, after four years doors started to stain. They told us it was out of guarantee, which was a lie, then offered a can of paint to cover staining as kitchen was discontinued. Continued to complain and then offered £30 gift card which we spent. We had the kitchen designed in the Warrington store. Ordered and paid for kitchen in full, without too much of a problem so we thought.
