Got this given when a friend dropped it and didnt want to pay to repair it. It's held up well and i've never had any problems with it.
Body/ paint easily chips though.
I still use this as my main guitar and would recommend for anyone as a main or 2nd guitar…

I actually really dislike the Vintage Metal Axxe Reaper.
I find it awkward to hold, I don't like the bridge, it breaks a lot, the sound is horrible and it really isn't nice to look at.
On the bright side it is cheap and it seems to impress an awful lot of my friends…

I don't really think it was a bad thing, but as I'm used to my Explorer I was used to resting-on-the-frets action, so I found the action on the Vintage Metal Axxe Reaper quite high. Overall however, I really liked the feel of this guitar and how light it was… Read Full Review

The Vintage Metal Axxe Reaper Electric Guitar sounds fantastic, particularly for rock and metal/hardcore punk. It looks awesome and is really light on the shoulders which is important if you want to gig with it. Survived a headlining slot with ease, and sounded great all through the set. All in all, a very good guitar. I'd recommend it over other V's because the shape is off centered and looks pure metal… Read Full Review

I went into a guitar shop, I had known being there for a while, and like a movie scene there stood the reaper right in front of me staring at me from the top of the wall! It looks absolutely amazing and gives that nice crunchy metal sound with ease but lets you really power out those solo's without a hitch!!! Amazing!… Read Full Review

I walked into my local music shop close to Christmas time, and when I saw the Vintage Metal Axxe Reaper electric guitar hanging up, I knew what was going to be under the Christmas tree.
It looked amazing, and when I played it I was blown away. Even though I have a B.C. Rich Warlock as well, it's hard to say what the best out of the two is…

I don't buy a guitar to impress my friends. Real friends you do not have to impress.
I am not sure what you have been doing with your axxe, but the one I have is enjoyable. Yes there are comfort issue's with the input jack position, but with a strap it's fine. After all, it is a FLYING V copy, not a couch. Get a jack with a flat head input and you are sorted, if you want to play it on your knee. Or play it side saddle with a strap if you are sitting. The jack input plate is plastic and cracked but easily fixed. It has seen a few battles but the guitar still delivers a DURTY rock sound and is versatile for blues, metal, even light Jazz if you know watt you are at. I didn't buy it either. I got it free when I bought a Marshall 30 Watt from a friend and house mate who moved to Florida from Ireland.
For comparison, I have two other guitars, a 2013 Gibson SG (made in Tennessee, USA, the real deal) and an SG copy made in China for a German retailer. The Gibson is Magnificent and wonderful to play. The copy is nice but not near as good as the real McCoy. Still I like all three guitars and wouldn't sell any of them.
Yes the Vintage axxe has it's faults, but you have a lot of guitar for the money. Good luck with it, get used to it and most of all try to enjoy it. If you don't like the sound then fair enough, maybe it's not for you. But really, I switch from the Gibson to the copy to the axxe and enjoy all of them......
Good luck and take care!
