Some of the reviewers say this is too small. I wanted a SMALL pressure cooker as now I live alone and usually cook only small quantities so the Butterflylite was exactly right for me. I have a gas hob and find this makes it easier to control the rise in temperature but this applies to any Pressure Cooker. I think one should expect to wait a few minutes for the pressure to come up and then adjust.
