I had appoitment at Woodgreen specevers where staff are always very kind and helpful but I have to admit that I have never met anyone like Janson who is the Lap Meneger. It wasn't even his job to come down from his cabinet and discuss the issue with me but he still came. He spent hours with me to make sure I was happy with the outcome beside this a couple of customers were asking him some questions and he was so kind that without any hesitataion he was helping them as well. I was standing speachless and I didnt know how to say thank you to him. I didnt even know people like him exsisted any more . Specsavers should applaud people like him as they make so many people happy and they give people hope and make their day. Thank you for this.

I would like to thank representative at Specsavers Fairfield Clapham. He assisted my daughter with her putting in her contact lenses. He dealt with her with such care and empathy. Showing her how to place the contact lenses in my showing her himself (putting his contacts in). He gave her positive feedback, increasing her confidence and giving great tips. He did this over 2 appointments giving us a hour each time . He is a really professional and friendly, knowledgeable member of the team. Thank you

“Happy customer”

I was greeted at the Rochdale store and within minutes was shown to a seat . One of the assistants did some tests on my eyes and was very pleasant which put me at ease . I was then asked to wait for the optician within minutes the optician tested my eyes she informed me she was a locum and didn’t usually work there but she was confident and again very pleasant . She told me my prescription had changed so I needed new glasses . After being taken down stairs I picked some new glasses the prices with the extras I wanted were explained clearly to me . I felt no pressure to pick the more expensive frames the girl was VERY patient and helpful and seemed very experienced in which type of glasses were correct for me . When I collected my glasses although the fit was not perfect at first the same girl sorted them so that they were right before I left the store . I found the whole experience helpful pleasant the staff at Rochdale store were top class . Thankyou .

“specsavers eye test at care home with mother”

specsavers liaised with me and the care home so I could be present for the visit and choosing glasses. The male optician Anish was incredibly patient and the young lady who attended to choosing frames was attentive and patient despite mum 95y not remembering the pair she tried on two minutes ago!! There is plenty of choice and the "concertina" style box is very large and it does need to sit on the floor. There is a £25 charge once you have picked the glasses but they do have to return to fit the chosen glasses after making them, and aftercare such as screws and adjustments are all included. 5 stars!

Having ordered two pairs of glasses, neither turned out to be suitable due to the frame size versus the prescription; one pair varifocals and one pair occupational. After several return visits, change of style as advised by the lovely person, I am very happy with the new glasses. A large part of that was due to the time taken to explain why certain frames are unsuitable for my prescription. Nothing was too much trouble and the manner in which I was dealt with, left me smiling and feeling valued as a customer. Thank you

Popped into the Blackburn store to have refit of new glasses and was attended by a person who quickly assessed the problem and took them into the lab. Within no time at all, he was back and advised me that he put new fixers into my rimless glasses. A very professional friendly young man. A credit to the company.

“Saved my sight.”

My practice is in Dereham.I phoned them on Good Friday also during lock down as had a very sore and blurry eye, I am blind in my right eye so was worried as this was my good eye, I left a message and they got back to me within the hour to meet them at their practice. Was sent urgently to hospital as had a piece of metal in it and it was healing over which could have turned out really badly.. They were so professional and kind, many thanks to them and to the person I dealt with as they were amazing.

I recently had an eye test a specsavers Colchester (Long Wyre St) and my eyes hadn't changed enough for me to need new glasses. Literally a week later I broke my existing glasses! I visited the Colchester store and they pulled my prescription up and said they had the lenses in stock and if i wanted to wait I could have them in a couple of hours. I was under no pressure to buy expensive frames and in fact the lady who helped me pointed me to a pair that were in the sale! I actually picked my glasses up the next day as I had to get back home and the fitting was excellent. My wife had previously bought some glasses here and we have both had exceptional service and above all really good glasses. Many thanks

I have been so impressed with the attitude and customer Service that I have received at the Gyle Edinburgh Branch of Specsavers , having had the need to return Superdry Sunglasses that have broken on three occasions due to a Design Fault I have now been given an alternative pair of Prescription sunglasses to the value of my original purchase. Absolutely first class service which I would recommend to anyone. They cant do enough for you.

Both myself and my husband were tested in our usual seats and couldn’t fault anything I have bifocals and reactions and my husband reading glasses We both loved the first pair we put on but looked at others and went for the first ones Mine is Alvina blue my husband is Wesson in black because they have spring arms so should not break they have a quality feel about them We can’t wait to get them in three weeks The lovely lady was very respectful and friendly and we did not feel rushed we were able to ask a lot of questions We have had other opticians to visit and Specsavers was the best I was able to see the selection of glasses and the prices of glasses and lenses so there was no nasty surprises like we have had before when we have been given the bill We would recommend Specsavers Healthcall

My fathers home appointment was 19/7/18 but he still hasn't received his glasses. Payment was taken the next day. We have left numerous messages on the number provided but no one has got back with an answer. Please help.

If it was me i would call there head office to see what they can say then demand your money back if they cant do or offer you what you expect .Also threaten to take them to court which can be all done online .Contact them through there facebook page leave bad comments they hate that .

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses in May this year. Last week both arms on one pair snapped off. I had been in to my local Specsavers last week as the nose pads kept coming off. I mentioned then that the arms felt loose but was told that they were okay. On returning to the store on Saturday I was told that the glasses could be repaired but it was cheaper to buy new frames at a cost of £48 as I was in a rush I reluctantly paid this, even though I had only purchased the glasses in May. I thought they were covered by a years warranty. Is this true?

They are covered by a warranty, but I very much doubt that includes wear and tear, or snapping the arms! You have 30 days no quibble return, but your frames lasted a lot longer than that. In fact the arms being loose would make them more difficult to break no? perhaps another visit for wider / more durable frames are the answer.

I went to Specsavers for a contact lens test. After paying for the test and trialling one of their products, they refused to give me my base curve unless I 'finished' the trial. Is this legal for them to withold information they should have found out during the contact lens test? Also I took in a pair of (rimless) glasses to have the lens replaced. After a couple of weeks one of the pins in the bridge part of the frame popped out of its seal. I took them back in, and they replaced the bridge part with another bridge as they managed to break the pin from the actual bridge itself. Not the best service to say the least. I'll be chasing this up.

In my experience there the cheapest on the market and it shows . Finish the test ,if they don't give you information that you've paid for ask for money back,or threaten them with the small claims court. I don't use them any more and I have found you get better service. adrian lightfoot

I E Mailed the CEO who solved my problem by arranging a new eye test free of charge and arranging new glasses for me free of charge.He then refunded all the money I had paid them which was £300,I was well suited.I suggest you do the same and go to the top it always pays for me.I can't answer your particular problem.

I had an eye test today and was told I needed glasses. However I forgot I could also get sunglasses in the 2 for 1 offer currently running. Will I still be able to get this even though I have already chosen and payed for my glasses?

ASK From my experience if you talk face to face its better, and if you ask why you were not offered the sunglasses that were on offer rather than the humble pie approach. I've stopped using spec-savers,because I had no lips left to bite.
