I love Gap- I have teeshirts from Gap which I've had for years. They wash and wear fantastically well as does the knitwear, unlike many other stores. I go to the store in the Bullring Birmingham, and the people there are all so friendly and helpful. The clothing is a bit different and a good price for the quality.I really don't buy clothes from anywhere else.

I have been trying to unsubscribe from their unwanted emails so many times now, that I have written to customer services who assured me that they would sort this out, as obviously the prompt that says "unsubscribe" does NOT in fact work. Funny that. And lo and behold I get another marketing email today. This is a real turn off to buying from Gap, so I won't be browsing through their site again, despite their "disappointment" .

Quality of the product is not worth paying for though the cloths fits perfect n look good. Would never go for gap products. Some of the cloths keep expanding..horrible stuff..

Great items in this shop staff in the bullring branch are kind and are friendly and are always willing to help you with what you are looking for ( the branch by snowhill station i can find the staff are not as friendly and can make you feel uncomfatable).I would suggest go to the branch in the bullring but both have a great range of clothes what are of a decent quailty and have the best range sizes for jeans on the highstreet and last londer than anything in topshop.

Quality of product terrible. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never ever go to gap on Oxford street

I love Gap, i am a Gap addict just for my kids, 90% of there clothes are gap, its so diff compared to other childrens clothes, with the colours and styles, every 6-9 weeks they come out with a new line, and the old line goes on sale, and you can also get shoes, tights and hats, headbands to match the outfits, if you like... I always get coments how they love the way my kids are dressed... I do check on gap.com to see what is coming out next so i already have an idea what i want, when it comes out in the u.k...
Good points
Staff our so lovely at Gap.
Its well worth the money
There sales are fantastic..
Bad points
you can't buy Gap on line like they do in the states, and get points....

I used to buy rather alot from GAP but I refuse to buy anything from them again, despite my love of thier hoodies because quality sucks. I bought some polo shirts for about £10, they were bright colours, I mean bright red, blue and orange, after a few washes they are faded to such an extent I threw them away. Furthermore, the material went all funny and lost its shape.

I've tried GAP time and again, only to be a victim of the iron. Again and again, no matter how you wash and dry, GAP clothes will wrinkle so much that they are almost unwearable! I've purchased shirts for half the price that are much more valuable than GAP shirts, simply because they don't wrinkle as much as GAP shirts. I have just spent over 20 minutes trying to iron a GAP dress shirt!!! It is still wrinkled!!! I will not buy another GAP product...ever. There are much finer shirts out there for a quarter of the price.

I like the way the clothes are organized at Gap because you can clearly see where the different ages are, e.g. child, teens and adults, etc and you can see the clothes are sepearted for girls and boys, men and women.
I think that it could be improved by making sure there is staff in the changing rooms, because I got confused as to where to put the clothes I'd finished with; I could see no clothes racks.

I went to Gap last weekend in search of perfect pair of jeans, having tried on every other pair in every other shop. I arrived at Gap and was greeted by a member of the sales team who explained the sizing of the jeans. I then continued to browse through the jeans and found that they all seemed to be long in length. I found a sales assistant who explained that gap jeans are shorter than most and suggested I try on a selection. They only have three sizes in the length, ankle, regular and long. Having found the correct length for me was ankle I continued to try on jeans. The assistant in the changing room was also very helpful and brought me many pairs of jeans that I had requested. I left with the perfect pair of jeans, however with a slight hole in my pocket as they cost £50!
