I have owned this speedfight for 12 mounths whitch as been factory derestricted and will do around 50/55 mph. I have had a few reliablilty problems. 1. Water pump. NEVER buy cheap water pumps they leak and stop working. I went though 5 in 5 mounths. Lucky I paid for only 1 water pump Pay a little extra and get genuine. Have had no problems since. 2. Thermostat I took mine out as the bike would warm up to quick and would have to wait until the temp came down before setting of again then would be normal for the rest of the day. Take out and let it warm before thashing it no problems since. 3. Last of all the electric start is a little tempermentle. But goes first time on the kick every time so not worried. This bike as always got me home as never failed to start. 2 strokes can be tempermentle and thisty if pinned every where however just back of a little and I can get 150 miles to a tank. I have got a full bike licince witch i have held for 12 years. I no longer have a bike due to growing family but had 11 years no claims and didn't want to loose them so I brought this speedfight The one thing that dose really frustrate me is insurance they don't list this model so i am paying same to insure a 50 cc Peugeot Speedfight 2 Ultamate than a Honda Super Blackbird 1100xx

The bike has never let me down, always starts. And if you're lucky to find a nice one that doesn't have too many kms, BUY IT. I love mine, it looks awesome, sounds awesome and doesn't use a lot of fuel either. I've only taken out the restricts, so it doesn about 80 km/h. The bike is quite big in difference to a lot of other scooters. It's so steady on the road and has a really nice comfort feeling. It's soft and quick to drive and it's pure fun to ride it. I've tried a lot of scooters, for an example a Yamaha Aerox. I like the Speedfight 2 wrc better, it's not as stiff as the Aerox. But the normal Speedfights aren't the same. They are usually air cooled and doesnt have disc brakes in the rear. I'd recommend it to anyone, it's one hell of a scooter and it's really worth the money and I love the sporty racing look of it. Juts awesome.

Speedfight 2 WRC.
Been commuting on this for just over a year. Its nippy, reliable and a great looker. I Bought it second hand, it had been hardly used and 1,700kms on the speedo. I had it fully serviced, new battery and never looked back. Love the bike and if you can get your hands on one, I'd get it. My experience it has good acceleration leaving cars at the lights and a top speed of 90k before I throttle back.

I have had my Peugeot Speedfight 2 WRC 206 for 2 months maybe 3 I don't think it is the best scooter as there have been a lot of faults already may be because that it is second hand I have trouble starting it if I have not been out on it for 2 days and the engine is always flooding also I have not had it de-restricted yet and when I go up a hill I hold up a queue however once I have got it de-restricted it might turn out a lot better
All in all though i think that the scooter is a good purchase if you get it in decent nik

This is a quality bike, not like the Japanese imports you get nowadays, I have one of these myself and they are very reliable and fast. Overall rating: 10/10 from me!

Amazing moped/bike. Exceptional Handling, awsome speed, very powerful, overall amazing bike...AND LOOKS MINT!

Really a good scooter...but I think that the peugeot could made a better body for the Speedfight, for example the rear light--->too big, and the rear piece doesn't look that much sporting.

I have had my Peugeot Speedfighter for just 3 weeks now and the electric start does not work. Is this a battery problem or a recharging problem? Help! The kick start gets the engine going but the light go dim when engine not revved.

The problem with the quick start may be the battery but I would say that more than likely its the fuse next to the battery these cost less than a pound and u should find by replacing the fuse your quick start will work instantly give this ago before taking any other route as its cost efficient

Fast, good accelleration, lot of power for a scooter, feels like a bike more than other scooters like Sym and Daelim.

Speedfight 50cc WRC. I have had this bike for 8 months and what a bike it is! It is not even derestricted yet! Speed, once warmed up a bit, is not an issue. It will leave cars standing at traffic lights no problem. It is extremely reliable on those cold mornings, even with a dead battery. The kickstarter is a very handy feature, starting first time. Handling is very good; loves being chucked around those tight corners. Brakes are excellent; nearly threw me over the handlebars once! I have had NO problems with this bike. The only expense I have paid is for oil, petrol and my first service bill of £30. The internal boa lock is very handy and secure. Would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a scooter.

I've got a Peugeot Speedfight 2 which has a 70cc bore on it and a techmigas pipe which I recommend to anyone with one because they sound so good and makes the bike very quick! I can get about 75mph out of my bike but my variator just broke yesterday and I just ordered a new Hebo 1. I have green strobe lights on my bike and it is so easy to wheelie. I also have a 21mm carb on this bike which sounds so good with a Hebo air filter! This bike is very quick on acceleration. I can beat all of my mates and even most cars off the line and the top end is good when you put some time into putting performance parts on it, but don't go to mad. My bike has blown up on me twice before and I've had to replace my belt 6 times.

Great scooter for a beginner or for some one who wants to have fun on the road. If you want more speed just stick some high performance parts on it and it'll be well speedy.

They are a fun fast scooter there pull-aways aren't that good but they looks nice and sound nice with a sports exhaust on.

I would definitely recommend the Speedfight to anybody, but not if you want speed otherwise they are great.

If you really wanna get the best acceleration and top end out of your Speedfight WRC then get the K&N oil and air filters, and if you've already got a racing exhaust and its not topping 50 mph then try the viper smoked silencers. I fitted all of that and my scooter's hot.

Take off your drivetrain limiter. Usually a spacer on the front variator.
Remove the spacer from the variator. Mine tops 65 with standard exhaust. It's all very well removing the power restriction in the neck of the exhaust pipe but if you are stuck in "low gear" you will never get a higher top speed. Removing the spacer allows the pulleys to effectively gear higher.

Yeah. I recommend you get a different Peugeot scooter, like an SR 50 or an Aerox. That will solve your problem.

My Peugeot Speedfight 2 WRC 206 is pretty nippy. I have had 45 tops but I have only derestricted the standard exhaust. I cannot wait to get my sport exhaust and 70cc kit, it is going to be well fast!
When I bought it, it was in pretty bad condition. I have re-sprayed parts of it although it's not the best, it looks better than before. I am going to buy new panels for it and completely change the look of it, but recently I drove over a pot hole in the road and has not felt safe since. I think it is the shock absorber, I hope it is not a major problem, as I cannot afford it.
The Speedfight 1 and 2 are by far the best scooters around. I think with their sporty looks, they are very popular to a variety of people. I am pleased with the Speedfight, just need to get mine sorted out soon.
