Total Service Station, 6-8 Green Lane, Sale, Cheshire, M335QH. As at 11JUN12, this station's Jet Wash has been out of order for over three weeks. I have been supporting this local village filling station for around five years and regularly use it's other service facilities, often spending £80 - £100 a week here... WELL NO MORE!! I approached the cashier today to ask about the Jet Wash, actually having done so twice already over the last few weeks, to yet again be told it's out of order. I asked why had it not been fixed and to speak with the Manager, I was rudely told that he was the Manager and owner, named Saeed. I then went on to ask the name of the area or territory Manager for this place, I was told by Saeed with surprising attitude that there is no other Manager, I quote... 'I said I am Manager and owner, my place, ok!!' Really? No, that's not ok. Wanting to maintain my car well and keep the dirt and insects off, I just asked when is it going to be fixed and working again, this time I got... A male figure appear from the back office, who then entered shop side where I stood and came up very close by my side in a imposing and threatening manner - I didn't even give whoever it was a glance. However Saeed behind the cashier desk told me... "It could be three days, weeks or months...whatever I like" With TOTAL disgust, I left there to never return. Next stop... Price on the board was 142.9p but after starting to fill up I noticed that the price on the pump was 150.9p. I only put £20.01 in (as with most places now their pumps do not stop at .00, .25, .50 or .75). When I enquired about the price of Diesel in the shop I was told that the front row of pumps had normal diesel but the back row of pumps only had the "Excellium" diesel at 8p per litre more expensive. However this is not signposted anywhere and you can only tell when your start filling up. Total Rip Off.

Not for the first time I used the garage shop today to purchase a pint of milk on my way to work. Both male and female, white, middle aged, stood chatting whilst I stood at the counter waiting. No recognition that I was there,no "be with you in a minute"Completely ignored. So i left the purchase on the counter and walked away for the staff to be quite indignant about the fact I had left. So rude, fed up of being dealt with by the same staff so poorly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why does this total garage always start to close 45 mins before it actualy closes, if its supposed to be open until 10pm i should be able to walk in and purchase anything i wanted at 9.59pm, wether it be fuel, cigarettes or a bar of chocolate.

I have had the very mis-fortune of visiting you Total Service Station (2299) 196-198 Wellington Road North in Stockport this morning.
The price indication sign clearly visible from the road indicated that both unleaded fuel and Diesel were 118.9 per litre. I pulled in and parked at pump number one and began to fill up with diesel. After a few minutes I noticed a very 'cloudy' set of numbers on the pump reading something like '1?49' as I say not very visible.
When I entred to shop to pay a lady served me I asked her what the numbers on the pump were she stated "that was the price per litre - 124.9". I asked her why the roadside sign said it was 118.9 - she replied with, "there is one pump that is dearer and you are using it - it has better diesel". I then asked why your very large roadside sign didn't advise this - she replied "there isn't enough room on it".
I then asked why there wasn't more information or bigger and clearer signage at the pump she didn't reply. I then asked if trading standards would have anything to say about it and she said "whatever? Look you asked me why it's dearer and I've told you".
On leaving I asked for a receipt - she declined to give me one saying I had my card receipt and that's all she could give me. I asked again - she refused, as I left she SHOUTED after me "F*** O** YOU RUDE B***H!"
I can assure you that I was in no way rude with this very unpleasant lady and I am very, very annoyed that she has driven me to write this letter of complaint and I can honestly say I can not recall the last time I had to complain about anything.
Finally, I would have had no choice but to accept her very vague explanation to the huge price increase at the pump but her attitude towards me and the very fact that she SHOUTED and used very vulgar language not only angers me but as a customer disappoints me.
I would appreciate it if you take my comments seriously and deal with the situation accordingly.

The worst service I've ever come across in a petrol station, ever! The man serving made me pay before I could use the pump while he served other customers normaly, he could barely speak English and was incredibly rude, I or my family will never use the station again. There is nothing positive to say about the place or the staff, doesn't even deserve 1 star, it should be minus one at the very least! Disgracefull!

Every time i visit, the pump always manages to add another penny,i know this seems trivial, but if this is happening all over the country it must add up to a sizeable amount.Have informed the staff several times and just got a sarcastic comment,i thought it was me at first, but have just visited and was very careful how i put the nozzle back in and it still clicked another penny on.Am seriously considering getting in touch with the weights and measures people.

i live in the newton aycliffe and have used the cobblers hall total garage for several years and always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. recently a new member of staff has started i dont know if he owns the garage or is a manager but he has to be the rudest person i have ever met my partner recently went in to buy some cigerettes and he was told to "stop smoking" i have been met with total disregard as a customer by this man every time i enter. i have just gone to get a paper and was left standing at the counter for quite a long time, i could see this man through the security mirror and he made no attempt to come out of the office and serve me. i eventually left and had to go elswhere for my paper.

After using the Total pump i could smell petrol and realised it was on my hands which could've been dangerous if i was a smoker, i have never had this happen at my other local garage i have used, i feel the maintenance of the pumps has not been kept up and it is an accident waiting to happen!

I have a Total Company Card and so always filled up at Total and was always getting the old gift vouchers until they decided to stop giving them out - even though customers were part way to being able to claim for more.
Our company was about to leave Total for this, until we discovered you could use the Total card in Shell & BP stations, so if any one else has a company card with them you can collect your Nectar points at BP or Shell have their own loyalty scheme.

It's not owned by Total. Would you complain to CocaCola when your cornershop has a broken fridge?
