Today me and my husband went into LUSH at Lakeside, Thurrock to buy our daughter a birthday present. The staff were very helpful and informative, they answered all our questions about the products and were really friendly, we didn't feel rushed at all, we was able to buy the perfect present for her thanks to the help and advice from the team at LUSH. An excellent shopping experience , 100% customer service satisfaction and value for money on the goods that we purchased.

Having had a huge breakout at the beginning of the year I have looked everywhere for products to suit my skin, then I stubbled across this cleaner. Having changed my diet and taking better of myself,I my skin wasn't looking very happy. After going into the shop for a gift, I started talking to a member of staff who seemed very knowledgable about skin problems. Anyway I had a sample given to me and and I am amazed at how quick it worked. I didn't use it straight away as I was worried I would react to it but now just the opposite. Great cleanser and I wouldn't have come across it if the lady hadn't asked me if I needed some help.

One of the best hair company's I have had the pleasure of dealing with, great people, great telephone manor and even better value for money.

It seems Lush just can't get a handle on what's going wrong in their stores. I actually worked for the company during the christmas period a couple of years ago - so i know how it works from within and its a shame to see nothing has changed. The staff are overzealous - that seems a pretty common complaint. I always say i know the products or that 'i used to work here' as soon as they jump on me. Sometimes a bit of conversation is nice but there's always a hint of desperation - and when you look at the prices you can see why. Lush will always have a cult following but i for one won't spend £25 on shower 'conditioner' out of principle. The products don't work that well for starters and there always seems to be a sense of superiority about the place, like their the best value and most 'fun.' Well, there are cheaper natural alternatives out there and i'm sorry but i'm just one of those people who doesn't need to turn getting clean into an event by using shower gel in jelly form or rubbing nice smelling playdoh into my hair. Some of the products really are innovative but collectively it all comes across a bit...juvenile and patronizing. And to think that masses of people are paying for it too...madness really.

I love the uniqueness of Lush's products and have been using them since way back when they were Cosmetics to Go. No-where else on the high street can you get scents and natural products like the ones they produce. yes, they're not cheap but, you're paying for the expertise and the fact that it's all British made. I was in Lush Brighton a couple of weeks ago and, I have to say, the guy who served me was one of the nicest people - EVER! I had picked up a bubble bar and a bit had fallen off it and he pointed it out to me and went and got another one for me. We then got in to a conversation about the different Lush scents and he was just so nice and genuinely friendly and obviously knew and loved the products. I always leave a Lush shop feeling happy - keep it up Lush!

I have used lush for about 10 years and still love that smell every time I walk past. The staff are always great very pleasant and quirky which is nice to see. Yes they grab you as soon as you walk in, yes they have sales targets like anywhere, but I have never found them pushy as I'm very direct as to whether I need help or not and If I say no they walk away but most of the time I chat to them for ages about products anyway! The only issues I have are the fact that many really good products have now gone and are not even online anymore : ( and for a company supposedly leading the fight on safe cosmetics they still use SLS,synthetic perfume and parabens among other nasties, shame! I for one would use way more products if they didn't and in fact used to use many of them but have found I'm allergic to SLS and lavender oil so had to stop. doh!
