I absolutely love them! I have thick, wavy hair and can only get really straight hair at the hairdressers. Well, I've spent 5 minutes straightening my hair and the results are amazing! Practically the same as what is achieved at the hairdressers! LOVE THEM!

★★★★★

written by fatalsecrets on 30/08/2007

I've had GHD's for years now, and whilst they did straighten my hair fairly well, I must admit I thought I could do better, so I searched the web, and found the T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart! They sounded brilliant, so I bought a pair, hoping that the price would reflect the quality, as they were rather expensive! But, in testing them out, I found that they glided through my hair with ease - none of the tugging and sticking that I'd been used to. They heated up very quickly, and straightened my hair far better than my GHD's, making my hair far less frizzy and not even giving me split ends!! Needless to say, I'm EXTREMELY impressed - well worth the money!

I would certainly recommend the T3 Bespoke Labs hair straighteners. I purchased a 1" narrow plate, and the results are great; much better than previous brands I have had. The guys at the online store where I purchased them from were great, and hairtrader.co.uk is a fully authorised seller for T3, which meant I got the full 2 years warranty, unlike a lot of other websites which are not approved.

Well done T3! Great product!

written by Sallsaw on 28/02/2007

After about 13 months I noticed that the plates weren't getting as hot as they used to (the thermostat had broken). Luckily I had a 2 year guarantee as I bought through approved retailer SDL Hair, (see t3 magic website) and I registered my purchase with them.
After a call to their repairs dept who were extremely helpful, I posted them 2nd class on Friday and on Wednesday the following week I got a brand new 2007 pair in the post. Brilliant aftersales service, if your going to buy t3 products I would definitely recommend them.

written by sara82 on 04/12/2006

The Hairart T3 Tourmaline hair straighteners are great, and I have recommended them to several people.

However, do be careful where you buy them from, as you will only get a 2 year guarantee if you buy them from one of a handful of retailers/suppliers. You can find out more by typing in T3 TOURMALINE STRAIGHTENERS on any search engine and looking for websites that have T3 approval. You only get a 6 month guarantee if you purchase the T3's from an unapproved seller, so it's worth doing your research!

★★★★★

written by sheri greenstein on 14/11/2006

I bought these straighteners in South Africa 11 months ago, and they have been a godsend!! From having constant frizzy hair, which I used to hide in a bun, I have smooth silky hair all the time now. The T3 Tourmaline Straighteners are great! The only thing is, that when the straighteners are hot and I wake up in the morning, there are still some curls, but I think that would happen no matter what I did to my hair!

I would definitely recommend this straightening iron to everyone, if they are willing to splurge a bit. I firmly believe that in life you get what you pay for though. I have tried cheaper irons and they suck!!!

I have had the GHD's for years now, and the problem I had with them were the that wires would go bust after a year. So I have been really looking forward to the T3's, thinking it would be so much better than the GHD's like EVERYONE has been saying. But to be honest, they are pretty much the same, but hopefully these will last longer!

Hiya peeps, well despite everything googs has said about the T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart, I still went with the majority vote and went ahead and bought them, they are good!! better than GHD's, but don't want to praise them too much, just in case they do fall apart! (touch wood they don't)

The customer service at salon lines weren't very helpful, they didn't know anything about the product they were selling so I suggest to peoples not to go to them for advice, also they mucked up payment-which I had to sort out! However, this is Salonlines I am criticising and not the t3s themselves.

All in all, and first impressions, thumbs up! :)

T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart - Although I have been impressed with the actual straighteners themselves, I was initially unsure of which size straighteners I wanted to get. After reading all the reviews on this site about how good the Cust Service, etc., was, I was convinced that the salesperson on the phone would be able to help me make my mind up. However, this was not the case and she informed me that it was my decision - spending £100, I was not impressed by her total lack of assistance. Hopefully, the unhelpful nature of this sales person is not indicative of the rest of the team.

Amazing that you write this. I am in Australia and I had tremendous trouble with sales people in London. Not T3 themselves, but the people selling the T3's. They were also extremely rude towards me........... I am not allowed to state their name on this site (unfair as we cannot warn others), but I have given up and am stuck with my T3's that do an OK job but aren't really that good........

“Well readers, yesterday my long time friend and...”

★★★★★

written by Zara Ahmed on 24/06/2005

Well readers, yesterday my long time friend and favourite hair tool of 3 and a half years passed away, YES, I'm referring to my GHD. I declared it dead and did my research on the latest hair straighteners as my beloved GHD had started to spark.
I typed in GHD on Google and surfed around with the intent to look at alternatives to the GHD, and if I had no luck I'd simply buy a new GHD. I looked at the SCP straightener and wasn't convinced that I could get a quality long lasting straightener for £40, you're only going to shell out another £40 next year...as soon as the warranty runs out.
I then read all 41 reviews about the T3, hmmm...I began to think that maybe I will be converted away from my trustee GHD. I have DRY, THICK, COARSE, FRIZZY, bra-strap length hair and LOADS of HAIR, so the hair tool had to be right.
I checked out T3 and read 'the science bit' (I've had salon ionic treatments on my hair and know that ions definately help to lock in moisture). I like my hair straight, but at the same time healthy hair is important to me, so when I read reviews that the T3's have the same straightening ability as the GHD but leaves your hair SOFTER and SHINIER... I had made my decision.
Looking at stockists of the t3, I phoned SALONLINES to get a bit of advice on WHICH t3 to buy. The chap I spoke to was very helpful and advised me that I should go for the wet2dry 1 and 3/4 inch. (I previously had a 1 inch, and found that ive got too much hair and need irons with wider plates). The 2 year warranty (only when you buy from authorised stockists), for me, is peace of mind that the price I'm paying for the straightener is giving me value for money.
Speaking of money, salonlines offer a price match service so if you find the T3 cheaper on a different website, they match the price. I found the T3 cheaper on the T3 website and paid £91.50 in total with no p+p charge!!!
OK, so I went ahead and ordered from salonlines (around 3pm thurs 23rd June). I woke up this morning (fri 24th) and my T3 was waiting for me, nice and quick service. Moment of truth came, I opened it up and tried it out....I was pleasantly surprised, the GLOSSY, SOFT, NON-STATIC oh and not forgetting DEAD STRAIGHT result was impressive. The straightener itself is fairly light, swivel cord means the wire doesn't get in the way, variable temperature means that the extra frizzy unruly misbehaving hair can be dealt with at a higher temperature, but your well slightly more obedient hair are let off lightly at a lower temperature.... The ends of my hair are sealed and soft, no coarseness..WOOHOO!! oh and the wet2 dry is great as the vents allow the steam created from damp hair/hair products to travel away from you. This has two advantages, 1, you don't get hot/burnt from the steam and 2, you can see what your doing, no steam vapour hiding your view. The Wet2dry t3 is also good because it can just be used on dry hair as well as damp hair, (best results from damp).
Despite my brand loyalty to GHD and a cynicism of new product, I am definitely a happy customer!!
Oh and ladies, if your wondering how to get the best poker straight hair, ask me!! I have the most UNRULY hair in the world, but you can't tell because I get my hair really dead dead straight!! The best product is L'oreal Studio Hot Straight (the pink bottle), protects your hair when your using the irons, and seals in moisture and gloss. Bargain at around £2.75 a bottle, I swear by it...
Hope this review was informative..

hiya, just wondering if you could help me, am thinking of buyin t3 straighteners, but thers so many, am not sure which one would be best for my hair, i have thick long wavy hair, and dont want a super big plated straightener. am stuck between either the wet to dry t3(but i tend to let my hair dry naturally, rather than blowdrying it) or the medium sized one, the 1 3/8 or 1 3/4 ones?

Hiya guys. I've been reading all of your comments, and I've got to admit that I don't find the T3 hair straighteners half as good as the GHD's. But after having 2 pairs at £120 a time, and both failing, I guessed I had better take a different option. My T3's cost me £30. So for that, I can not complain. But I still insist that GHD's are still far better. My thick, long blonde hair was in far better condition.

Zara Ahmed's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 02/10/2005

Hi Googs and babrahams....
<br>
<br>
<br>I agree with babrahams, the T3 is a great straightener, and its a shame that you aren't getting the same results as we are. And over this weekend, my cousin got married, she has fine hair and I styled her hair for her reception and my T3 worked a treat for her hair too!!
<br>
<br>As I had only previously only used the irons on those with thicker hair and my own hair IS thick, I had to agree that T3's DO work well on thick hair, but as I have now used them on my cousin's fine hair, I agree with babrahams that the irons work just as well on fine hair. In short, when you have a pair of T3's in working order, they work well on most hair types!
<br>
<br>I definitely think its worth sending them back, SDL Hair Limited will most likely send you a token of goodwill like a bottle of serum/mousse etc to at least PARTLY reimburse the trouble of sending the irons back to them.
<br>
<br>Go on Googs, send 'em back, its worth the investment. :)

Babrahams's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 29/09/2005

Hi Googs
<br>
<br>Surely if you have forked out for the T3s, which if truth be known are quite expensive, it would be worth the £20 to send them back. I would be heartbroken to have forked out all that money and for them not to work. I agree that yes you have already forked out for the T3s and why should you pay any more, but I can't help thinking that is it such a waste not to send them back.
<br>
<br>Honestly, my hair is quite fine and I had loads of it, and I cannot rate highly enough the results I get from them. If you paid the £20 for the postage and got a pair that really work, this would work out cheaper than buying another pair of GHDs which can, sometimes, be even more expensive.
<br>
<br>£20 is a lot of money for postage, but cheaper than having to buy another pair of straightners, that may not work as well. I truly would like you to see just how good the T3s really are.
<br>
<br>It is just a suggestion, but I have never had such good results with my hair, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. You must be pretty fed up paying out all that money for them not to work - I would not be happy either. Perhaps worth looking into though. Maybe if you emailed them, they could arrange to have them collected from you?? Worth a try. Hope you get it sorted.

Googs's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

It is a great suggestion babrahams.
<br>Good to hear they work for your hair which is similar to mine.
<br>I obviously have a dud pair.
<br>
<br>I would post them back in a heartbeat, but they will not refund postage. And, at over 20pounds for me to post them over, I can't come to pay that much.
<br>
<br>They will post them back at no charge but I have to pay to get them there.
<br>
<br>Yeah, so I don't know what to do.
<br>Maybe I should just send them back ............. over 20pounds is a lot though.

Babrahams's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 29/09/2005

Sorry Googs, yet again I have to disagree with you - surprise surprise. I have quite fine hair but a lot of it. The T3s work remarkably on my hair.
<br>
<br>They leave my hair poker straight, extremely soft and amazingly shiny and I don't need to use a protective serum - I get comments where ever I go when I wear my hair down and have straightened it with my T3s, so your theory about only working on thick hair is out the window. The results also last ALLDAY - I can finally wear my hair down and feel confident that by the end of the night, my hair still looks as good as when I went out.
<br>
<br>My hairdresser also only uses T3s - this is where I bought mine from, and they agree - they work on all types of hair and give excellent results everytime. They will not use any other straightner, and they are an extremely successful hairdressers, and they have not had one single complaint when using the T3s - and are constantly selling out of them!
<br>
<br>I could not be happier - it is the best investment I have ever made. Much better than GHD anyday - and most people are now binning their GHDs because their results cannot come anywhere near T3s.

Shame that you have had such a dud pair, because if they had work properly I do think you would have been really happy with them, like you were in the beginning. I would seriously think about sending them back directly to T3 - not the people you purchased them from, they will refund your postage, and you will get back a pair of working straightners. Just a suggestion but I definitely think it would be worth it, to then get excellent results, and hair that you would be happy with.

Googs's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Zara quote "dnsse, made a comment that if you have thicker hair the irons work better".
<br>I think that is correct.
<br>
<br>My hair is fine and I have a lot of it.
<br>The T3's are horrid on my hair.
<br>
<br>My friend in Aus that also had terrible results also has lots of fine hair.
<br>
<br>Perhaps the message to all is that if you have wild, out of control frizzy thick hair then they'll be great but if you have hair in top condition that is fine in texture then the T3's won't do much for you.

Zara Ahmed's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 28/09/2005

Chris N. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! For stepping in and clarifying the relevant points about this site.
<br>
<br>Googs, I hope that you will realise that, you may have your opinion about the t3 but the majority that LOVE their t3 because it suits their hair type, (which is most who have reviewed the irons on this website) dont have a problem with it.
<br>
<br>So accusing me of being an affiliate to a company or continually saying the t3 is not good, does not change the fact that t3 irons are good for most people. And really the issue is that the t3 irons are not good FOR YOU.
<br>
<br>Thank you babrahams for highlighting the relevant points about Googs' campaign on slurring my review.
<br>
<br>I've had my irons for months, my thick, frizzy, unruly, simply MAD uncontrollable hair is the bane of my life, but with my t3 straightening irons, I consistently get more compliments on how shiny, healthy, sleek and lovely my hair looks, more importantly the ease of getting good results with my straightening irons has improved since I switched from a GHD to a T3.
<br>
<br>That is the long and short of it. As well as the irons you use, if you want excellent straight results, most people should:
<br>
<br>*use a good nourishing shampoo and hydrating conditioner
<br>*get your hair trimmed every 6-8weeks
<br>*use your irons with some moisture in your hair
<br>*use protective serum every time you use your irons
<br>*use an intensive hydrating conditioning mask on ur hair every few months
<br>
<br>dnsse, made a comment that if you have thicker hair the irons work better, I have thick hair and so I agree that thicker hair is maybe more resilient to take the high temperature that the t3 can attain. But at the same time, those with thinner hair, if they use a protective serum suited to their hair type as well as keeping the heat lower, the majority should get the same results.
<br>
<br>Thank you again, Chris N. and babrahams.

Googs's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 28/09/2005

No, I am not confused.
<br>
<br>Well done on collecting all my quotes babrahams as it outlines how I first found the irons (in my initial review) and how I find them now. It is a shame that one cannot 'edit' a review, as I would change my ratings in all categories.
<br>
<br>They did seem more gentle on the hair when I first got them and they initially did not seem to dry out the hair as much.
<br>
<br>But, in my opinion (and some others also) the actual results of the irons (i.e. straigtening ability, shine factor, lasting results) are not as good as other irons I have tried and own (ghd, Remington slimline ceramic, Remington W2S).
<br>
<br>I do however find it strange that my comments have been truncated time and time again even when I have made zero reference to the company I purchased the irons from.
<br>
<br>Anyway, it is up to the individual to decide for themselves but IMHO I believe there are much better irons around than T3.

Babrahams's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 27/09/2005

Googs, I would just like to quote you once again, as you seem to have forgotten what you previously reviewed:
<br>
<br>"These irons are quite good. The thing I most like about them is that they are quite gentle on the hair and they don't seem to get as hot as some others.
<br>
<br>The variable temp is great. They leave the hair very soft and unlike traditional irons dont' seem to dry out the hair as much."
<br>
<br>Then later on you go on to quote:
<br>
<br>1. "People - the T3's do not work that great !!!!! Honestly. "
<br>
<br>2. " I think they are highly over-rated. The line that they cause 'no damage' is not correct. I have loads of split ends since using mine"
<br>
<br>Are you a little confused or just very forgetful , or perhaps you are just arguing with everyone for the sake of it. Are you bored or something? Yes you did say that the irons did not meet up, but what they actually did for your hair was quite good.
<br>
<br>I think you need to read back on what you have said, and then perhaps retract all the negative comments you have made - make up your mind!!

Right girls, as a Review Centre moderator I think it is about time I added some clarity to this situation.
<br>
<br>All comments are looked at and if necessary edited before they go 'live' onto the website.
<br>
<br>Googs, let me stress this website is unbiased. We have found the need to edit some of your posts though. This is because some of the points you made were in relation to the company you purchased the T3's off. This comments thread is for comments about the T3 straighteners only - NOT the retailers of them. If you have a problem with the product then we have no issue with you airing your grievances, however this should not extend to comments with regard to the suppliers or to comments making insinuations about other members. Just remeber this is a discussion about the product itself so lets not deviate from that!
<br>
<br>As long as everyone follows these simple guidelines then there should be no problems!
<br>

Hi dnsse,
<br>
<br>I would agree about the thick hair point, I do have thick hair and lots of it, so maybe my hair is more resilient to the irons, but at the same time, there is a variable temperature control so you could try using them on a lower heat setting, with an even coating of heat protective serum/spray if its too hot??
<br>
<br>hope ive been helpful... thanks :)

Thanks Zara for answering my comment. I have been trying it on my sister's hair because hers is alot thicker and can withstand more heat than mine, it works absolute wonders on her, as for me..unfortunately I could never find a pair like my original T3 1"3/4, they were wonderful..as for now, I'm trying out Solia.

hi dnsse...
<br>
<br>I dont have this problem with my t3. I have a wide wet2dry pair and i always use it with some dampness in my hair and with a protective serum.
<br>
<br>And GOOGS, i thought we'd come to a mutual agree-to-disagree agreement and i seem to remember you saying that this was YOur last comment on the topic....
<br>
<br>The majority of people who have reviewed t3s have said how good they are, there will always be some people (however small the minority) that is doesnt work for.
<br>
<br>The only points to add apart from this is ensuring you use the irons with moisture in your hair and with a protective serum to prevent dryness and split ends.
<br>
<br>Hope this was helpful to you dnsse. :)

HELP. I loved my T3, it was the best thing ever to happen to my hair, but after 6 months it broke down and I made use of their 48 month warranty. My new replacement T3 is horrible, it leaves dry frizzy unhealthy looking hair. It is the exact same model, but without the sleekness and shine. How can I contact manufacturer. Any recommendations on other brands??

Hi Zara
<br>
<br>I agree with you on the customer service. I also have an expert review on T3s (yes, so chosen by Review Centre themselves!) and sent my pair back for repair after the plates didn't meet. I had one of the old black pairs, and after looking at them, free of charge, they gave me a brand new pair of Mark 2's - the silver ones. Took less than a week from me sending them off to getting my new pair.
<br>
<br>SDL also price match - I wanted to get my sister a pair of irons as a present, and a chap there gave me a great deal on them, and they've offered to match prices on a hairdryer or curling tongs should I want them (though I think it helps I've got them about 20/30 sales of irons!) Can't praise SDL enough, even though Salonlines could do a better job - also bought mine from them and was less than impressed! :) Love my 1 3/8s though, and wouldn't be without them!

Zara Ahmed's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Well everybody, it's update time...
<br>I assumed that SDL Hair Limited, (company who makes T3s) would simply repair my T3 and send it back to me, but they sent me a PERFECT replacement! and it arrived a day earlier than they said! and if that's not good enough for you customer service cynics, they sent me a free bottle of Urban Culture Suave Sleek Creme as goodwill which is £9.95 on most hair product websites. That MORE THAN covers the £2.11 postage I paid to send the original straightener back!
<br>
<br>See, moral of the story is that, companies can supply faulty goods, they DO make mistakes BUT as long as they rectify the problems quickly and efficiently; WE (the consumers) should not winge and moan 24/7 but should give credit where credit is due.
<br>
<br>My T3 straightener is great and the company's aftersales service was just as good and that is what counts. Which is more than I can say for my previous GHD.

ha ha can't believe how similar our problems are, my hair is a complete frizz ball and i am paranoid about having dead straight hair(i also use the pink l'oreal product u recommended- i have also found that the frizz ease straightening posion is good but rather expensive - lee staffords shine spray is also very good and makes hair feel really smooth). I have been through 2 pairs of straighteners in a year. The first GHD's were sucked into the hoover by my regretful mother, and the second thermoglass babyliss which brokelast week when i threw them across the room after hours of straightening. After using my brothers ultra thin toni and guy straighteners for a few days i am willing to buy the best straighteners money can buy. Your review was very helpful and i have my credit card ready to order the T3 wet to straight straigtners. Thank you, Francesca(bad hair day sufferer)

I think all this is getting a little out of hand. Zara has made a perfectly good review, which was given expert status by the staff at review centre. I don't think that anyone would be bigheaded enough to award this to themselves.
<br>
<br>Googs, we all need to agree to disagree, and move on. More people have placed good reviews for the T3s than bad, so surely that must say something. There are thousands upon thousands of reviews on this site, many positive, but there are just as many say about the bad experiences people have had with a product or service.
<br>
<br>This site is for freedom of speech, and for people to rave or rant about something, not to get into an argument with people. People should not be personally criticised about what they have said. If you disagree, thats fine, but say why YOU disagree, and do it without criticising the other people who have placed reviews or comments.
<br>
<br>Lets leave it, and continue to place reviews and comments on about our experiences, without being derogative towards others - I am sure that the people of Britain and Australia would agree with this, and this would make the world a much happier place!!!

Hi Bridy,

<br>I think its the other way round, ex patriates/those from other countries seem to be more uptight! See Googs above!!
<br>
<br>I reiterate my irons work fine, my hair is still poker straight after using them, they are not difficult to use nor are they 'broken' or 'dodgy', I'm going to send them back just so the connecting pin can be tightened as a precaution. It really is a minor thing.

You go babrahams... thanks a lot...
<br>ONCE AGAIN GOOGS, my answers are not made up, I gave you my honest criticism of the T3 as a product, but seemingly not good enough for you, simply because I don't agree with you. WELL ANYWAY... in the real world, people agree to disagree...maybe thats a lesson you need to learn GOOGS, as well as buying a good moisturising and nourishing conditioner if you've got very split ends from using your straightening irons!!! (babrahams is also correct in that maybe you need a consultation with your hairdresser if your split ends are particularly bad).
<br>
<br>Princess Ali, I saw the straightening irons for £91.50 at T3's own website, I think its T3.com??
<br>
<br>Hope thats helpful... (especially for Googs with the split ends).

Wow, 2 people in the WHOLE of Australia - I am sure that T3s are really starting to worry.
<br>
<br>I agree, you are entitled to your opinion, but don't force it onto others - everyone has their own choice whether to buy them or not.
<br>
<br>So far all you have done is slate the people who write good reviews and put down something that is very highly recommend - READ the rest of the reviews and stop pushing your thoughts onto others. By all means say that you are unhappy, but do something about it, and then review it!! Stop putting down those who do actually like the product, and stop suggesting they are working for T3 or specialist hair salons.
<br>
<br>I am not going on about it - I am just fed-up with people like you putting others down! Yes everyone is entitled to their opinion, but don't put them down for it!!

<br>I know of one other person here in Australia that also bought T3's - she sold them on ebay and got some ghd's which she likes much better.
<br>
<br>I am entitled to my opinion.
<br>They are highly over-rated.

Googs, get over it - just go and buy a pair of straigtners that you do like, and then review them in a positive way. I have been using the T3s for months now, and I have not got one single split hair - my hair is in really excellent condition. Perhaps the T3s have just highlighted another underlining problem with your hair - try talking to your hairdresser.
<br>
<br>Also, if you are having trouble complaining to T3 about your duff pair, go straight to T3 directly - that is what is recommend on your warranty - if you deal straight with them, send the duff pair back and they will replace them straight away.
<br>
<br>They are not a waste of money - in fact these were cheaper than the useless pair of GHDs I purchased. You cannot argue with the amount of excellent reviews that are on this site rating the T3s - you seem to be the only one with a big problem.
<br>
<br>Stop advising people not the buy them - just because you are having problems with yours, does not mean they are not a good product!! Stop complaining as well - get over and just go a buy something you do like!!

<br>I think they are highly over-rated.
<br>The line that they cause 'no damage' is not correct. I have loads of split ends since using mine.
<br>
<br>I would save your money - there are plenty of irons out there that are not hyped up like these and do a better job.
<br>
<br>Ghd are better IMHO.

Thank you Babrahams,
<br>
<br>I actually have a small criticism, the problem I have is that I've used my T3 three or four times and one of the plates is not 100% in line with the other. Don't get me wrong, it works beautifully, (my hair is sleek and poker straight), but I was worried that over time it may get worse. BUT I phoned T3 and they were very concerned and advised me to send the T3 back, and they'll send me a new one.
<br>It's the luck of the draw, from my point of view, the irons are brilliant, they save me time and energy and are kind to my hair and I would still recommend them just as strongly as before.

Zara Ahmed's Response to Zara Ahmed's Review

Written on: 13/07/2005

hi princess ali,
<br>I have thick long hair too and i often let my hair dry naturally too. What i advise is that you get the wet2dry irons, they can be used on dry, semi/dry and damp hair too, but the irons are exceptionally good at removing all dampness and sealing in shine, this means no frizz! So wash your hair the evening before straightening, let ur hair dry naturally and then straighten ur hair in the morning.This way ur hair will be more malleable and will take to straightening more than if were DRY-DRY. The wet2dry 1 and 3/4, (thats the slightly wider plates) are better for if u've got thick hair and lots of it, (the plates are not too big or heavy). I had narrower GHD plates before and now it takes me half the time (30mins down to 15mins) to straighten my hair to a perfect poker straight finish. Thats my advice, hope u found my comments helpful.

Bought my T3 straighteners just over a month ago after my other (Kodo) hair straighteners broke. Was a bit dubious at first as i did not know the make and had been leaning towards GHDs.

However, i was won over by the claim of tourmaline technology and customer reviews and so bought them. I can honestly say i have had no problems with them! they are as good as my old pair and presumably as good as any of the top end 210 degree straighteners on the market. I especially appreciate the domed features to allow for curls and waves and the pouch they come in is also incredibly useful for packing etc!

I bought these T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart a month ago, after 3 other pairs including Remington ones, which were useless for my hair type, which is thick, wavy, semi-afro and long. These are fantastic, and I can finish my whole hair in 5 minutes flat. A worthy investment.

“T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart - I never used...”

written by casmira on 26/10/2004

T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart - I never used hair straigtheners in my life. Just never found then interesting. But I don't have very curly hair but still I have some natural waves and I sometimes have a lot of trouble to get my hair straight. I use a hairdryer, but if I go out and get some wing they have waves again.

I didn't know what to buy. I used my friend's cheap straighteners and they did their job but nothing special. Decided finally to buy T3 mark 2. Because I was thinking at first about buying GHDs, but every second review was how they would blow out after warranty. And I am really happy I bought T3. Amazing. I have long hair and it takes me 4-5 mins, even less sometimes, to get my hair nice and straight. And my boyfriend has little grili hair....so he askes me to straightner his hair every morning. He really loves them too.

They are expensive...but I truly believe they are worth that.

T3 Tourmaline Straighteners by Hairart - These enable you to change the temperature so that you can protect the more delicate areas of your hair like thin fringes and top layers.
The ionic technology has such a good effect. If you have frizzy, dry hair that you think nothing can salvage, think again, because these will amaze you and do the job brilliantly. It makes your skin look smoother, when you have sleek, shiny hair and changes your whole look.
