“Online code FAILS”

I was given a 40% off online code on Cushionwalk and Barratts shoes. When I go online what do I see, those brands are already discounted. Fair enough, I said maybe the code works only on full priced items (of those brands) and guess what, THEY DONT !!! I ordered some shoes on the 18th January. Waited a week and messaged them in regards to where the shoes were. Nothing back. Messaged the next day and I had a message back saying they'd look into it. A few days later nothing back. Left them a comment on FB and actually got someone's attention. However two days later waiting for them to locate my missing shoes or at least give me my money back. “A complete waste of time”

I could write war and peace on the subject of ordering from this company. My best advice is DON''T, not unless you want a load of hassle, aggravation and excuses. If you do foolishly order something and have to return it note that the Freepost address they give you does not allow you to track the returned item thereby ensuring safe return. “Cheap rip off shoes”

Ordered some school shoes for my 7yr old son and they lasted 3 weeks before completely falling to bits- waste of time and money! The shoes came apart at the front then the bottom just flapped open eventually after using glue to repair them they gave up completely with the rubber sole just falling off! “Stirling store an absolute joke.”

“Was not even told order had been lost in trasit”

I ordered a pair of sandals for my daughter. This was nine days ago. So I ring customer services for the man to tell me they have been lost in transit and they had no more in stock. So I was on my mobile for about 7 minutes, so no shoes and its cost me money to ring them. Will not be buying anything from barretts again… Read Full Review

“Appalling slow service - cancelling order that was...”

On 2 May 2013 I ordered a pair of shoes from Barratts as a present. I received an email acknowledgement with order number and acknowledgement of payment. I waited to receive an email telling me the shoes had been despatched. No email arrived until 7 May 2013 when I received an email from Barratts telling me that "due to quality issues" with stock, they had cancelled my order. Your item was cancelled as on inspection our Quality Control Team found that the item had become damaged and was not of sufficient quality to dispatch to you. As the item was extremely low in stock, we were, unfortunately, unable to locate a replacement for you after checking across our stores.

“Wrong delivery, great customer service”

I ordered a pair of boots online, and was delighted when they arrived ahead of the estimated delivery date. However, when I put them on they felt kind of funny. Turns out I had been sent a size 40 left boot and a size 39 right boot! Customer services were very apologetic and offered to send out a new pair, but they were out of stock. “Was my purchase even sent?”

For Christmas I chose a pair of Catterpillar boots from the Barratts website (having been told the store cannot request stock - and I returned to the Camberley store on several occasions to see if a delivery had come in as informed by the staff) I opted by the standard delivery. “Why oh why did I order from them?”

I should have known better. The last time I ordered from them I eventually got an email saying the order was cancelled due to no stock. If there was no stock why did they let me pay for it then??? Took a chance and ordered again today and when I back clicked on the order page it's saying order cancelled due to stock issues!!! Aaaagh!!! “It wont arrive - don't waste your money on thin air”

If you want to be charged for shoes they don't send then be my guest and buy from them. I paid for over £70 quids worth of stuff and they informed me 2 of the products were out of stock. Fair enough. However, they still charged me for one of them. When the stuff they did have actually arrived, they only had 2 pairs out of the 4 that were meant to be coming and 2 pairs of £25 each boots are still lost in transit 2 weeks on.
