An absolute icon throughout history, from 1960! Jam and biscuits are pretty nice, but the jam in jammy dodgers are exceptionally tasty! A definite recommendation, you have to try these!

a real classic!
a great biscuit, to be eaten with or without a cuppa!
the price of them is pretty cheap too.
only problem or not so much a problem as a little negative is the amount of jam versus the biscuit ratio, ive always felt they were missing that little bit extra, i guess if its a matter of cost to add more jam then id probably be ok paying an extra 10p if the jam was increased

I love Jammy Dodgers as they are my favourite biscuits I'd enjoy it with a lot more jam in the heart or the jam spread through out the biscuit if you know what I mean.

I adore Burton's Jammie Dodgers, they remind me of when I was a child.
One of my favourite biccys around!

Jammie Dodgers were a staple snack for me over 30 years ago when I was stationed for two years in the Midlands. The creamy filling was enhanced by the soft cookie, and they had a taste that made me crave for more! Great stuff!

Definately better than those garish iced biscuits, but only a fond memory from a sugar junkie days as a child.
The taste is bland, the biscuit soft, the zesty jam is better than I give it credit for. Many immitators.
I do like the odd Jammy Dodger, but you cannot finish a pack, which is cellophane based, or used to be, with about 6 biscuits inside.
The jam is actually harder than the biscuit, and can stick to your teeth!
Great though for child parties! Overall, again, a good biscuit, but perhaps hyped too much.
Suggest? Fig rolls or Jaffa Cakes

Jammy dodgers are one of the worst biscuits you can get, the jam inside is very sickly and I find the actual biscuit very soggy. I would much prefer a maryland cookie anyday.

!??!?!?!?! !!!!!
How can you say this? It is illegal to hold these views is some countries!

Sickly Jam? No, no - but i suppose personal taste differs.

Soggy? only if you leave the packet open overnight - then yes they are one of the soggier biscuits - but they should ALWAYS be eaten fresh. Always. None should be left over to go soft. None. Not ever.

I weep for your biscuits.

I must admit, I don't agree with the soggy biscuit remark. Jammie Dodgers are delicious!

Burton's Jammie Dodgers are the BEST BISCUIT in the world.

What Beer is to Homer Simpson Jammie Dodgers are to me. Jammie Dodgersssssss..... Drool.
How can the attraction and satisfaction of Jammie Dodgers be distilled into text? Let me try.
The combination of the dry, slightly sweet, shortbready, bisciuty bits with chewy, extra-super-tasty strawberry (or whatever it actually is) jam is at the core of the irresistablity of these biscuity marvels.
BUT - how should they be eaten?
1 - always a packet at a time, never less.
2 - eat as much of the biscuit as you can without eating any jam so you are left with as high a jam-to-biscuit ratio as possible. Then eat what's left in one go. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
3 - Alternatively, put the whole biscuit in your mouth and crunch away.
4 - The skilled may perform 3 but munch only the biscuit (see 2) and swallow it, leaving the jam centre to be enjoyed with as little biscuit as possbile (again see 2).
5 - The new, small jammie dodgers are interesting as a novelty but they are just that. Too much biscuit-to-jam for the connoisseur.
The double packets mean you have to gorge yourself as you cannot reseal them. It's a hard life!
Jammie Dodgers why are you so nice?
I eat a packet faster than mice.
Hurrah!
