See following: Had confirmed tickets from Preza to Athens for 7 months Ticket said Aegean Airlines operated by Olympia Airlines. Attempt at eticket: "Must check in at airport." Arrived at Preveza Olympia counter 2 1/2 hours before flight and told "you are wait listed." Next flight out in 3 days. The only flight out for 3 days was oversold and my wife and I are stranded. This flight was the first of 4 legs to get home. Appeals to supervisors were met with shrugs.

Flight cancelled by email!!!at short notice with no offer of help for another flight. Travel plans in tatters and lost $$ in accom, transfers. Booked a new flight at a huge price for 3 days later. Disgraceful treatment of customers. Will you take the risk?

Dear Sirs, I took an Olympic Air flight from Milan to Sydney and must say that on my way back I was DISGUSTED by the rudeness and appalling manners of your staff in the Sydney International Airport. It all come down to what kind of training your people in Australia receive...or if they are trained at all! We all know that Australians are naturally somewhat impolite, but what I have seen was a complete lack of respect towards passengers and staff even laughing at the face of customers! Do you think this is right? If Olympic Air wishes to be an EUROPEAN STANDARD COMPANY...Greeks should know to be more Europeans themselves...especially more honest and organized and in the case of of Australia, Olympic Air should provide better training to those animals of the Sydney International Airport. They are to learn how to deal with people politely! Besides, I am forwarding a letter to a major circulation newspaper in Italy so that everyone can learn of some very bad experiences I have seen with Olympic Air and avoid the company.

I am extremely sad and dissapointed regarding my recent flight experience with Olympic Air and the ground service management of the problems. I planned a holiday in Milos. The return flight from Milos to Athens on 8.09 was delayed 1.45, for that reason I missed the connection to Bucharest. I was told to go the Olympic Air ticket desk and there they told me that there was no place for flight in that day, no place for flight for the morning flight of Olympic to Bucharest for the next day (although I was not responsible for loosing my connection paid to Olympic for 8.09) and offered connection through Istanbul with TK at 15.00 on the 9.09. I respected their decision, although me and my companion are both doctors and we had to be on duty monday morning on 9.09 The next day, when arrived for boarding, as the check-in desk of turkish airline was not opened, we came at the Olympic Air ticket desk and asked the person who was on duty there, if there was a problem because e had no passports, but just the id card to transit Turkey. She said she asked the Turkish airlines and that we cannot enter Turkey without passport. Taking for granted that information, we kindly asked her for a solution, for not loosing again all the connection to go back home. She pretended to search options for us, but instead resolving other customers who were behind us at the cue. As we waited more than an our for a response, I went to Tarom andTurkish Airlines check-in desk to ask if there was a problem with the documents we had for boarding and try to find a solution. Tarom said that Olympic Air should be putting us for the morning flight, even if fully booked, because it is exclusively their fault. also confirmed me that as a romanian citizen I could transit Turkey with ID card. Turkish Airlines said that ID card is ok but the ticket has been cancelled by Olympic Air, who did not even contact them before doing so!! And the places had been taken!!! the only solution gaved by Turkish Airlines was to wait until ckeck-in closing, and if any place available, we could board This was really a nightmare that drove me out of our minds!! One minut before she SHOUTED AT US IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER ON DUTY, THAT THE TURKISH AIRLINES TOLD HER THAT THEY WON'T BOARD US WITHOUT PASSPORT! I went back to her and asked her why has she lied to us? and what is her name because I want to complain and sue her for all the miserable and umilition that she put me through. As a response she called the manager and security and run from her desk, without even let me know who I was speeking to. The manager gave me her name and his details and support me to finnaly solve the situation and go back home with the Turkish Airlines. But these 2 hours spent with thsi lady i were the worse in my entire life. I felt so humiliated, treated with no consideration, no respect and with no profesionalism! I fly very often, me and my companion are both GOLD on Skyteam, and I also like very much to come to Greece for holidays and every time I felt in Greece like home. I am very very sad that in an era of communication I had to pass through all these unpleasent moments because of incompetence or bad willing? I really don't know! Today and yasterday were my anniversary, as my name is ANA Maria, and my family and friends were waiting for me at home. I really felt miserable! I hope this is not Olympic Air way of treating customers who love to come to Greece!

STAFF OF STRATEGIC AIRLINES VERY GOOD,THE PLANES BOTH WAYS WERE DILAPIDATED OLD AND FALLING TO BITS(MAYBE THE SAME PLANE??),READING LIGHTS ON MOST OF THE PLANE NOT WORKING AND PASSENGER SEATS COLLAPSING MID AIR DUE TO WORN AND NEGLECTED PLANE.HOPEFULLY THE PLANES ENGINES WERE BETTER THAN ITS INTERIOR!!!!!I KNOW THESE PLANES ARE AIRBUSES BUT MAYBE SOME LIGHTING AND ADEQUATE SEATING WOULD HELP?? FLIGHTS WERE GOOD,STAFF INCLUDING THE PILOT VERY EFFICIENT BUT WILL THIS STOP THE PLANE FROM FALLING OUT OF THE AIR DUE TO AGE AND BAD MAINTENENCE????

Olympic ruined our Silver wedding Anniversary trip. All 3 flight legs were a disaster. Offloaded 3 times despite booking and paying 6 months ahed.
Baggage delayed 60 hours within Greece - hey knew it was left behind but no attempt to move it and till many compalaints from many passenegers.
There internal reservations and communications system seem to consist of an abacus and smoke signals.Never never never use them. Have flown with many airlines all over the world and have had some bad experiences but Olympic was by far the worst.

Recently flew from London Heathrow to Athens on Olympic Airlines. This was the first time I've travelled using this airline, and was pleasantly surprised.
The flight was on time, so no problems there. The staff were friendly and polite, and seemed to be looking after their passengers with ease.
The aircraft itself was very nice! The seats surprisingly made you feel like you were travelling premium economy, or even business class... lots of leg room!
The food was pretty good, nothing special, but then it is airline food. As it was a short haul, in-flight entertainment didn't exist. Still, there seemed to be an unlimited supply of drinks so everyone was happy.
The return trip was just as good as the outgoing flight. I have no problems flying with Olympic Airways again.

You could not even do a web check in if you are leaving from Amsterdam to Athens! What kind of airline is the on that only allows you to do web check in if you are leaving from Greece???

This has to be the worst airlines i have ever been on, not only did we not make it to our disired place to travel, there was no help from the flight Airport / company, they have the worst customer service ever Would not EVER recomend this Company for Flights.. i hope this helps you out.

Although I am greek I had bad experience in the past with OA. Besides the great safety, everything else was quite disappointing. But the new OA is really great. On time, friendly stewardesses, brand new aircrafts and of course some of the best pilots in Europe. Since my first trip with the new OA, I decided to fly with them whenever possible. I hope that the new company (after the merge OA with Aegean Airlines) will be even better (and still inexpensive)

I went to Greece for xmas and I was really suprised with the 'new' Olympic.Forget the previous one!Flight was on time,food excellent as always,the cabin staff friendly and young and the landing was perfect.The airplane was a brand new A320 and was very confortable.I hope to extend their routes because now Olympic has very limited routes compared to the previous one.Keep working !

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, one child 8 years old and one baby 8 months old)and had a return flight Athens - Amsterdam. The planes were new, but there is no in flight entertainement at all and nothing for the children to keep them occupied. No baby food was provided and no one from the attendants (who were generally polite) asked if we would need anything for the baby etc. Not a bad experience in general, but it could be much much better.

Brand new airplanes with wide seets and lots of leg room. unfortunately no entertainment system.
Breakfast was eggs with saucage, yogurt, health bar, 2 chocolates and beverages.
nice and helpful staff (much improved from old company)
excellent magazines (inflight)
helpful pilot (made announcements in Greek english and French)

Flight not by Olympic but Athens Airways and I would avoid them for the time as everything is changing and the aircraft we travelled on was old, tired and fault ridden. The cabin lights continually flashed off and on, seat mountings had either broken or missing plastic covers and worrying bolts stuck out at knee level. Life jackets hung free under the seats and the toilet smelled high right from the start, in flight movie without earphones, announcements, apart from the pilot were pijin English, if you could make them out. It was probably an old Canadian plane as the travel film was preceeded by adverts in French and American English. The food was good and that was about it. I am not sure what the future holds for Olympic or whatever airline will take its place but hopefully this is not it.

Unable to use Olympic Airlines "NEW" online web check-in service as it only allowed you to fly from one Greek island to another. What a truly international airline!

Plane did not show up at all. No explanation was given. No information on how to leave the island to meet up with connecting flights. Told next 7 days booked solid so we could all have another weeks holidays! Everyone missed their connecting flights and it cost us £500 to get to Athens. A one-off? Are you joking? Exactly the same thing on the same route with Olympic Airlines happened to us last year. Be warned!!

Well maintained aircraft, clean cabins, friendly staff. Delays in scheduled international flights. Olympic Airlines is a small to medium size company with medium range network focussing on the short connections European and the core middle east.

Long delays, rude cabin staff, rude ground staff, rude overall, screens most of them don't work in the plane, most seat personal radios don't work so you have to keep moving in the plane until you find a seat that works, just to name a few...

I had read very bad reviews of Olympic Airlines prior to traveling and was quite apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised. I especially was impressed by the sandwiches and drinks in the galley for anyone to take between meals on the return flight.

Having maritime business interests in RHO, I fly to the islands often, and with Aegean whenever possible.
The Greek people are a warm and friendly lot, but they surely deserve much better than this for the national flag carrier.
