This chocolate is so tasty and the filling of the caramel and crunchiness of the lion bar defines the quality of this chocolate the filled wafer and the crisp cereal covered with milk chocolate gives an amazing taste its the finest and delicious chocolate product of nestle which is released by British company in past

I hadn't realised they changed the recipe until I bite into the bar. My first thought was the bar must be out of date or been contaminated as it the worst taste ever. I've always loved lion bars but I'll never eat 1 again unless the recipe reverts back. Gutted:(

The one thing I always hated about travelling to the US was the chocolate; awful stuff and now Nestle have started Americanising all of the products they acquired over the years! New recipe clearly means bitter chocolate, not sure what extra crispy means but it' doesn't mean better.

Nestle Lion Bar Cereal.................... not quite like a lion bar is it?...........little bit disapointed with the cereal itself....... i was expecting real lovely lion bar bits in a cereal not light weight wheat pieces with a hint of lion bar.............Guess i will just stick to REAL Lion Bars in the future.............MEOW

I am 35 years old. Have tried all kinds of sweets, candies, chocolates in various countries. My search for that elusive chocolate bar ended when I discovered the Nestle LION bar. Gosh! Have I been blind or limiting myself all this while?
I have been in the UK 6 years now and I am kicking myself for having discovered this bar only a few months ago. And ever since then, man, am I hooked to this bar? Like nothing else! BOOST and DOUBLE DECKER kind of are similar to this one but, hell no, they don't come anywhere close.
Just the perfect blend of ingredients. After reading the reviews here, I wonder what the so missed original version would have been like. Kind of feeling jealous to know that some folks here got to taste a better version of this already awesome bar.
However, I hope for someone about to try this bar, the reviews here don't hype up the expectations too high that when they have the bar they might feel a little let down. This comes from experience with over-hyped films.. Interestingly, the same film if received bad reviews, I would go watch it with low expectations and actually end up enjoying for that reason only. Hmm!

Good but not what they used to be. I used to eat these regularly as a child in the early 80's and they were by far the best chocolate bar.
Unfortunately after the Nestle takeover in '88 the recipe changed, and has continued to change till the bar we have now.
Funnily enough they now taste more like they used to pre-Nestle then after the first recipe change, but still not as good!
20 years on and yes they were that good that I still see the Nestle version and feel cheated!

It tastes amazing!Out of all the bars I've tried there's nothing like Lion! It's funny though that everyone wants the king size. Chocolates are meant to be small treats and this one is already quite filling.

Very tasty combination of ingredients. I especially like the white chocolate version.
In my opinion, having lived in Canada, the U.S. and various places around Europe, it is the best tasting candy bar in the world.

I hadn't seen a Nestle Lion Bar in the shops nearby me for ages and I thought they no longer existed till I was down in England last week and couldn't believe they were there in a vending machine. I immediately got one and it was amazing. Upset that I know they exist but they are no where near the shops around here for some reason!

I hadn't eaten a Nestle Lion Bar for years until about 2 months ago, when purchasing my lottery ticket. Now I buy one every Saturday when I get my ticket. It's a ritual!

The Nestle Lion Bar is nice for the odd chocolate treat. It is satisfying, and also good for during sports as a sugar fix. However, it is calorific, and it sticks to your teeth, so it's not the thing to eat if you have a loose filling - ahhhhhh.

Being in Canada, this product is not available to us. While in Spain, I had a chance to try it, and it is by far the best snack bar I have ever tried.
If you are traveling in Europe from North America, make sure you stock up on Lion Bar's, as you cannot get it domestically.
