It's a shame to see former crisp giant Golden Wonder in the predicament they find themselves. This brand simply haven't moved with the times, and they now find themselves well behind both Walkers and Pringles in terms of 'potato quality' and flavours. I would honestly put 'Asda's own' in front of these crisps. It's a real shame to say it but avoid Golden Wonder, as they're rubbish crisps… Read Full Review

Golden Wonder, at least where I come from, used to be the top seller. GW crisps were the most trusted, tastiest, best crisps out there-but not now.
I have found that the flavours of most of the range are very lifeless-in particular the Salt and Vinegar variety, and the Prawn Cocktail ones.
Added to the lack of flavour, I find that the actual potatoes aren't up to the standard of other crisp makers, like Walkers.
My advice is this-don't buy a multi pack of Golden Wonders, without first checking…
