Every thing at Club Green Oasis in Maspalomas is brilliant staff great and the food is first class. Every where is very clean and the cleaning staff for the bungalows is top class
the only thing that has gone down in the years we have been going since it first opened is that the sheets and towels are not changed as many times a weeks as they used to we used to have clean towels every day and sheets every other day
Would recommend this hotel to every one and i have done over the year we have been going and we are off back there again this week cant wait.

Good location, lovely pools, lovely staff. Lovely hotel five years ago unfortunately this is not the case anymore.

My family had a really great time in this complex. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained with plenty to do during the day. In the evenings the entertainment was limited and mainly focussed on the needs of young kids which is fine however you are a bit of a captive audience...with a 2 year old you can't really venture too far at night and staying within the complex is almost the only option as there's nothing in the vicinity you can visit; no bars etc. I can still hear the children's entertainer now!
The alcoholic drinks available as part of the inclusive deal are ok but nothing special. The beer is actually of a pretty high quality but unfortunately the spirits aren't very great and the cocktails tasted just like botted ones from shops. A plus would be the availability of ice cream for the kids...and adults throughout the day and night which is quite a nice touch.
I found a small number of the staff to be a bit off-hand. This was a shame because our overall experience was positive.
If I could offer one piece of advice it would be to only book one week. A fortnight would be too much time to eat in the same restaurant as the menu is very, very limited.
The apartment we had was basic but clean and functional, near the pool but still quiet during the day and night.
Given the choice I would go back. This venue is pretty good value for money...we paid about £1000 for 4 for one week all inclusive travelling direct from Glasgow during the school October week break.

Very nice but theres not enough entertainment for the children.

I was extremely unhappy with the Green Oasis.
We had three sleepless nights at this venue. The noise levels from the people who just wanted to drink themselves into a drunken stupor every night got the better of us. They took it upon themselves to wake everyone up at three o'clock in the morning. We moved to a different complex, which was far nicer.
The food was a big disappointment, all the same. Not well presented and looked slung together. We ended up eating out two out of the three nights we were there.
We didn't like drinking out of the plastic cups the whole time.
The towels provided in the bungalow were completely useless and didn't absorb any water.
You couldn't swing a cat around the downstairs room, it would have comfortably hit all four walls.

Two weeks all inclusive will drive you nuts, but week is OK.
The food was very samey. The courtesy bus from the Club Green Oasis in Maspalomas runs on time, but not from 13:15 to 15:00. Then it finishes at 16:00!! This is no good if you want to go to the beach for the afternoon, but taxis are relatively cheap. There is not much around the complex to walk to.

Myself (36), My Fiance (42) and my Daughter (13) all had a excellent stay at Club Green Oasis in Gran Canaria, and we enjoyed every moment of it! There was a huge selection of food in the restaurant, and a good choice at the snack bar. The bar staff and waiters/waitress were brilliant. The best feature at Green Oasis is the entertainment team. They work so hard in entertaining the young kids (mostly 3 to 11), and for the teenagers they can join in with the wide range of activities for the adults. The team are very friendly and fun, and my daughter keeps in touch with one of them. The pools are clean and very big. There was a maid service every day, and the reception respond to problems very quickly (only had one minor problem).
We all thought a week was too short, and overall it was a brilliant holiday. We would Definitely go back.

The Club Green Oasis hotel is beautiful, the staff are fun and friendly especially Tom the barman he's great and does some amazing cocktails. The rooms and towels were cleaned every day and the whole time I was there I didn't see one cockroach. It's interesting as there are loads of different nationalities there include German, Norwegian, Dutch, French and Spanish the food is outstanding and the drink is nice would definitely go there again. A beautiful hotel would think its a lot more than its rated

I did not enjoy Club Green Oasis and it was really very basic. The food was the worst I ever tasted and it was always the same. I would definitely pay more to have quality. We ended up paying for meals every night. Drink was cheap tasting except for soft drinks which were nice.
Poolside food was raw.

My husband and I wanted a week in the sun doing nothing! We were a bit worried about going to Club Green oasis in Gran Canaria having read the reviews. However, the staff were friendly, and our apartment was clean and more than big enough for the two of us. We were in C block which is away from the main block (A), and I am glad we were, as I think A block could be too noisy. Where we were you couldn't hear a thing. The pools were lovely; big and clean with more than enough sunbeds, and we went in half term. It gets annoying when people reserve them but you can move them as it says you can't reserve them!
The food was fine. There was a variety of food to suit everyone. My husband loves his food and enjoyed every meal. I like to eat healthily, and there is a variety of healthy food available.
You are a little way from the beach, but we walked every day, and it took 15 minutes. If you don't want to walk you can take the shuttle bus!
Taxis are always outside the hotel if you need to go anywhere.
The beach is beautiful, and we went there most days, when we weren't by the pool.
You can't complain about this place as it is reasonably priced and NOT a 5* resort, so don't expect one! You get what you pay for, and what you get is great. Enjoy your holiday. We did, and would go back! Don't listen to the bad reviews. We can be fussy and we didn't have a complaint!

We have just returned from Club Green Oasis in Gran Canaria on the 9/10/05, and I cannot say anything bad about this place. We had an excellent time. 4 adults and 2 children (3 generations). The pool that we used (the middle (b) I think) was lovely and warm, which is unusual for the Canaries, but even I used it. It was really clean. Nothing else to say, but it was great, and my little boy (5) loved every minute of it. We were not fighting for sunbeds, as there were plenty, some were a bit worn though with splits in them. The reception were very helpful if you needed them. Food was good. The norm for all inclusive. No nasty surprises. Clean, and the waiter/ess' were really helpful, and cleared tables asap. The all inclusive package was fine. The beer was good as informed by my husband and stepfather. You can only get 2 drinks at a time though. Free ice creams for the kids (mini-milk type choc or vanilla). The snack bar was a little poor, but we never ate anything from there, but you could get the usual chips, burgers, hot dogs, meat and salad for sandwiches etc. The rooms were different to normal, as the bedroom were upstairs, which is quite a novelty for abroad. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean, and the maid came 5 times I think. They did look a bit tired, and need a bit of an update, but apart from that they were fine. They were updating some rooms whilst we were there, but the noise was kept to an absolute minimum, and they only worked on them for a couple of hours during the afternoon. It didn't stop me dropping off round the pool whilst they were working though.
The entertainment was OK too. They had an animation team on during the day round the main pool, which we didn't actually join, but they seemed to have lots of activities, and I think they had a kids club but mine never bothered. They had a mini disco for the kids at 8.30 every evening. Then the usual BINGO, which I hate, and whilst we were there they had bands and shows that came in i.e. dancing girls, a band, and something else which I can't remember. They also did a tribute to Saturday Night Fever, and one for The Blues Brothers which I didn't like, but the guy who was in charge was quite good as John Travolta. He certainly had the moves and the looks too!! Don't get excited girls, he left on our last night to go to work somewhere else. The only thing that drove me mad, was the hotel had quite a lot of Germans, and when the animation team spoke, they seemed to take more notice of the Germans than speaking English, so sometimes we didn't know what was going on. Apart from that, we had a fab holiday. The weather was kind to us, and even hit 87 degrees one day. We only had 1/2 a day of cloud the whole holiday.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone! We truly had a great time, and are looking to go back next year.
Hope you have a great time too!

Myself, husband and two children 13 and 11 stayed at Club Green Oasis in August. While we were there a number of people had accidents with the steep stairs which have no hand rails.
The tiles at the top of the stairs were slippery, and easily flooded from the bathroom.
Also my daughters holiday was ruined by an ear infection, which meant that she couldn't use the pools for the second week.
Beware the medical centres though very good do not accept the E111 so you have to pay out while you are there and claim back on your insurance.
The roll out bed collapsed twice but they fixed it promptly when asked.
On the good side we found the food to be good, and the children could eat early with friends leaving us to enjoy a leisurely meal.
Entertainment was good for younger children but there wasn't much for the teenagers to do in the evening, and it all ended a bit too early, with no dancing for the grown ups.

I was very pleasantly suprised when I arrived at Club Green Oasis with my 2 young children. The accomodation was of a good standard, albeit a little noisy due to the location near the entertainment. However, I asked reception if we could move due to the noise, and this was done the next day. There are 3 pools, and families with younger children should head to Zone C, as it the shallowest of the pools and most child friendly. No problems getting sun loungers every day. All in all a thoroughly good holiday, well worth the money.

There could have been more choice at Club Green Oasis atmeal times as it was very restricted, the restaurant was a bit smelly every time we walked in. It put us off the food, a sort of kitchen smell, the meat always looked different colours and veal was on the menu constantly,

It was with trepidation following some of the reviews read before leaving that we set off for Club Green Oasis. On arrival at mid-night we were greeted warmly by the reception staff. The rooms, site and pools were spotless, although the accomodation was a little small but being all inclusive you only sleep in it!! Day time activities are centred around the big pool by the bar so unless your room or prefered pool is the large pool you didn't necessarily know what was happening. The entertainment team were fantastic, working tirelessly, some of there shows were a bit cheesy but that just added to the entertainment. It really is a international resort with many other nationalities staying including Germans, Scandanavians, Dutch, Spanish and Italian which lets face it is no bad thing as they do not stand for poor standard accommodation. The food was very good with a great deal of variety, yes veal was on the menu but so was chicken, fish, salads, soup etc, breakfast was probably the best meal with either continental or English. Would definately recommend this holiday for families, there is something for everyone.

Apartments were excellent and cleaned every day. The pools are lovely also cleaned every day, the big restaurant smelt a bit, no air conditioning, but the smaller restaurant is better! Food was a bit nasty after a week, catered for germans more, get your sunbeds quickly in the mornings or they'll be swiped by the germans. The area in which the Apartments are situated is beautiful, the free bus to maspalomas town and the beach is excellent. The free ice creams are delicious, especially the milk ones um um um!
Overall a great all inclusive holiday would definatly go again.

Club Green Oasis in Maspalamos, Gran Canaria, is in a very poor location! Although the accommodation, resort and food are very good. It is Clean, tidy and spacious, but you are basically stuck in the middle of nowhere, with nothing around you! You have to get Taxis everywhere! There isn't a Not a beach, pub, club, restaurant, or shop in sight!
Extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this resort to anyone!

Went to club green Oasis in November 04, with my sister just to get away for a week from husbands, kids, work and the british weather. The chalet style accommodation was spacious and clean, there are 3 swimming pools 2 of them with pool side bars, set in attractive tropical gardens, the staff were friendly and helpful, we arrived at 1pm and were invited to go straight to the dining room to have lunch while the staff looked after our bags, food was varied delicious and plentiful, buffet style but set out sensibly so no queing. Predominantly German clientel so obvious problems with getting a sunbed, the entertainment was quite poor most evenings due to the fact that every sentence that was spoken by the entertainment staff was repeated in German, Dutch, Spanish and then English, but the pina colada more than made up for this, and taxis were very cheap to the nearest town which was only 10 minutes away, there was also a free bus to the beach 3 times a day. If you want a nice relaxing short stay holiday Green Oasis fits the bill nicely.

7 of us went to the Club Green Oasis for a week and all of us enjoyed our stay. The rooms are cleaned 5 times a week and are very clean, but very small if there's 4 sharing.
The pools are superb and there is a full entertainment programme on.
The food was good considering the number of people they have to cater for, it was geared more towards Germans but then I like red meat and pommes frites so no problems there. We did get a bit bored with the food near the end of the week and went out a few times.
The location is great but it's a bit too far to walk comfortably into Maspalomas, the Water Park and Playa Del Ingles but a taxi to all these places is just 3 euros.
There is a main road at the back of the complex and some rooms are affected by noise, but if there's other rooms available the hotel will move you, just ask.
If you're going to visit, the nightlife is at the Yumbo centre and the boulevard in Playa Del Ingles, there you'll find excellent food, entertainment galore and the obligatory Irish bar where the laughs begin.
