it is disgraceful to expect non experienced driver to pass a perception test when perception is different from one driver to an other. i drive since 1988, i have 10 years no claim bonus, i tried passing the perception test on a CD and i failed every time. my wife pass hers every time on a CD but in the test centre failed 3 times.in a test you are usually told where you made mistakes, not in the test centre. you just told you failed and you don't know where or why so you can correct anything… Read Full Review

[name removed], it was a bunch of kids aged about 12 who were riding tghuorh, they saw the bollard and slowed down for it, but they didn't realise that only one bike can fit tghuorh it at a time. Two could do it but it would be VERY close. I think it needs a sign and I sent an email to a FT committee member about it as soon as I got home. It has been brought to the attention of the authorities. I don't feel that I can erect a sign myself but maybe that is the best idea as it still has not been… Read Full Review

I found the theory section very useful and a lot of thought has clearly gone into showing how students are progressing.
Regarding the 'Focus' HPT software, the quality of some of the clips is poor and hazards (eg pedestrians) can't be seen until too late. Some clips just test speed of reaction eg a tractor suddenly appearing round the corner: all you can do is hit the brakes, which has nothing to do with perceiving a developing hazard. As an experienced driver, I have scored zero on many clips…

The theory part is ok but there were questions about stopping distances and one question was asking the stopping distance at 50mph and then it asked it again but the right answers were different for both questions.
The hazard perception part was really confusing, like there are so many hazards you don't know which ones you're going to get marks for and which one's they don't count.. and they class it as a hazard if you drive past parked cars but you don't know whether to click on every single…

Driving test success, hazard perception video clips with 400 clips:
I'm not sure if this is indicative of the exam, but if it is, this mode of testing is a disgrace and should be done away with.
I would estimate that I am seeing close on 100% of the hazards in good time but unfortunately this is often before the composer of the dvd has either seen them or warrants them to be a hazard and therefore I often get zero marks. All this DVD does is encourage you to click as often as possible or think…

The Driving Test Success Hazard Perception software has many functions.
It includes the official DSA theory test question bank for cars and motorcycles.
The 10 official DSA hazard perception sample video clips.
Additional; Hazard perception interactive practice video clips.
Plus 2004-2005 digital highway code.
This is excellent! It allows you to fully interact as if you were taking the test. It marks each category and identifies any trends, giving areas to focus on. The questions are worded…
