A Ground-breaking Camera That Is Still A Joy To Us
A ground-breaking camera that is still a joy to use today. Tough and simplicity itself to set up (after the mind-numbing menus of DSLRs), it looks and feels great. The viewfinder alone puts 99% of DSLRs in the shade. I score it 4 for features, only because it is now over 20 years old. Vive le F4!

The Nikon F4 Was The Benchmark Camera And Still On
The Nikon F4 was the benchmark camera and still one of Nikon's best inventions to date. Build quality has never been beaten or ever likely to be . Wonderful grip design either way up. Shutter sound is awesome....Cannot praise this camera highly enough.

This May Be The Greatest All-around 35mm Slr Camer
This may be the greatest all-around 35mm SLR camera in history! I still get gasps and aahhs when I whip (well "lift" actually because it IS hefty!) this baby out of my camera bag! People don't believe me when I say the camera's design is 20-years old! I love it and will NEVER part with it! No digital for me!

For The Photographer Who Doesn't Like A Lot Of Ext
For the photographer who doesn't like a lot of extraneous features, this camera is worth serious consideration. There is no LCD readout, just some knobs and buttons that do everything you need them to. Three metering modes, AE/AF lock, Shutter speed, ASA setting, aperture preview, Mirror lock-up, Drive mode, exposure mode (A,S,M,P), seld timer, multi exposure and that is it my friends. This camera is built solid and feels good in the hand, especially with the extra battery pack/vertical grip (with shutter release button), though the AE/AF lock buttons are hard to hit with the mb-21 battery pack attached. I've heard that Nikon does not approve the use of AA Lithium batteries in the F4s, but I have used it for the last five years with lithium batteries and have had no problems. The Lithium batteries weigh less than other batteries and last way longer. I love this camera and I'm sure you will too, if you purchase it knowing what you are getting.
ENJOY.

Although It's Being Said, That The Af Can't Compet
Although it's being said, that the AF can't compete with todays HiSpeed modules, it's the only weakness that this body suffers. But if you can live without using 600mm optics for Formula 1 shootings, the Nikon F4s is a perfect body for the Pros and the Amateurs.
Bought mine for 180,-(sic!) Euros in condition 'B' at ebay and loved it from the beginning.
Maybe it's not the best body for those having only short fingers: the AE-Lock and AF-Lock buttons could be difficult to reach.
It's quite easy to use (no menus or submenus).

I Bought My Nikon F4s Digital Camera 1 Year Ago Fo
I bought my Nikon F4s digital camera 1 year ago for 590 us$ .
It's got perfect hold in vertical & horizontal .
Every shot you take is great because of the
Accurate light mattering .
Very easy to operate .
I use a 50mm lens with a f=1.4 and the results
Are amazing .
Highly recommended to buy used instead of
Another new camera .
Confusing review because the Nikon F4s is not a digital camera.

Top Professional Nikon F4 With Built In Motor Driv
Top professional Nikon F4 with built in motor drive (up to 5.7 fps) and shutter sppeds 30-1/8000. Flash sync up to 1/250.
I bought my Nikon F4s not along time ago.
I really like this camera, it's easy to operate,
has all modes and compensations what I need.
AF speed is good enough. It's great that there is
an option to rewind film manually. I bought this
camera body for 2000NIS (~430$). Very good price.
Camera works very accurately and lets take great pictures. The feautres close to Nikon F5 and camera looks very impressive. I think it's very good choice for advanced amatuer that has no money
to buy F5. Nikon F4s is really great machine and I
like it very much.
The F5 better than the F4? No way !!!! Nikon didn't know what they were making when they made this. Geez.....what a camera.
