I Never Received The Nckidscard, Just One Statemen
I never received the NCKIDSCARD, just one statement in 2008 that there was a little money on it. No other child support came in and a few months ago I persued Chase from the number on the statement attempting to get a card to get the money. Result---found the balance was negative 92 cents. No money. No card. No help from state. North Carolina should not be doing this to our kids. Check the child support manual. If a client has a problem with NCKIDSCARD refer them to ------phone number for Chase. We call that the fox guarding the hen house. The only reason Chase gets one star from me is that I can't enter zero stars.

You Can Withdraw At Sheetz Gas Stations For Free,
You can withdraw at Sheetz gas stations for free, but if I had it to do over again I would've switched to bank account direct deposit. There is NO customer service for this card...other than to report it lost or stolen.

I Want Everyone To Know That Chase Credit Cards Ar
I want EVERYONE to know that Chase Credit Cards are a rip-off!!! My credit card got swallowed up by Chase. They instantly increased my APR to 31.99%. I started trying to pay the card down by making huge payments ($1200.00) on the card every chance I got, how did they repay me in return? They decreased my limit so they could jack me over on the interest and reported to the credit bureau's that I am constantly close to my limit which lowered my credit score. I am paying that badboy off as soon as possible and will NEVER do business with Chase ever again. I have never paid a payment late and always paid more than the minimum and they will not lower my APR. STAY AWAY from CHASE credit cards!!!!!!

On March 30, 2009 Chase Officially Changed Over Fr
On March 30, 2009 Chase officially changed over from WaMu to Chase. In doing so, I never got a statement in the mail. I have always paid on time for decades. In the Chase changeover, by default, my account was set at a paperless statement - so, I did not get a statement in the mail as usual. Lo and behold my account was deemed LATE and I was charged a $39 late fee PLUS my APR was upped to 29.99%. Calls to thier help line were of NO help at all. I am sending in a written complaint today to them and also to the Michigan Attorney General. I'll bet 10's of thousands of customers were affected by this giving Chase Millions of $$$$'s in windfall profits. What a scam thrown at good long standing customers. Boooooooooo to Chase.

Chase Sponsors The Nckidscard, Which Is A Debit Ca
Chase sponsors the NCKidsCard, which is a debit card that child support wages are credited to. I get very little money every month for child support, enough to cover just one week of full-time daycare. This card is said to make your life easier and your money accessible 24 hours a day. They hit me with a $1.50 fee when I withdraw from any atm other than Chase. A $5.00 fee for relacing it, $.50 for a balance inquiry, $12.50 check issuance and account closure fee, and a $1.50 inactivity fee. These are a few of the fees. Plus, I live in North Carolina, and there are NO CHASE BANKS anywhere near me, so I have no choice but to go to another ATM. I am a single mother, part-time employee and part-time student, and It took a lot of time and pain to finally get the child support payments. This money helps take care of my daughter, NOT CHASE.
I am fixing to activate my chase card after reading the reviews I seriously don't like it. I knew there was some catch to this. Has anyone tried a "cash points" they USUALLY don't charge.
Has any one tried to change to direct deposit?
The review is very true about fees and costs associated with it. If there are any 7-11 gas stations there you guys can go to those atms for free. I just thought I would help you out with that info. It does seem more practical to use a local bank than having to trouble with finding a free atm. I think it is rediculous to be penalized with fees for trying to take care of your child(ren) on what little childsupport you get.
I agree with this review because...there are enough bank with headquarters located in NC that it seems stupid to go with chase.
I found this review helpful because... I just received my nckidscard and was reading over the paper work and all the possible fees. So I decided to look online beforehand for a chase atm, and like you I discovered there isn't one in NC. Why would they distribute debit cards to parents that you cannot use unless you go to another bank and get hit with fees? I guess, the expect you to make purchases with cash back?
Summary: Never Be Late On A Payment But They Canno
SUMMARY: Never be late on a payment but they cannot lower my interest rate, which they doubled and then added points to when another card said I had a late payment for a bill I never received. Since then, has been hell.First, I entered my bank account number wrong on one of my two Chase cards and got hit with $80 in fees, but when I contacted them the next day they refused to refund either one of two 39 fees--and since I was a student with no extra income at the time and a low credit limit, I got charged $80 in fees for the next three months, until I finally paid off the card with a balance transfer--over $700 on a $500 card (more than $200 in fees).Unfortunately, my oldest card is also with them--the Starbucks Duetto Visa--which I received when I worked for Starbucks, with a ridiculous limit for an eighteen-year-old. I made bad choices in college, but now that I have graduated, have a job and am trying to pay down the card, I have been told five times now, through three different departments, that there is absolutely nothing they can do to lower my interest rate. I have a very high balance--I am aware of this--but they are charging me 29.99% interest on this $3500 balance, which means that I pay $90 in finance charges a month and have no hope, without their help or my own efforts (which I am doing now), of ever lowering the actual balance. This is legal but extremely bad service. 78% of people who call their card companies get SOME reduction, but they told me--five times--that they were "unable" to lower my rate even one percent. This is outrageous. Above that, we had an impatient representative in the second department to which we (my sister and I) were sent hang up on us and give us the wrong number for the appropriate department. She also told us that the department she was referring us to was the department that set the fees--but I got the exact same response from this gentleman, who was at least slightly more friendly but still "unable" to change a thing. Most companies--Discover, especially--evaluate your payment performance and history in conjunction with your credit report. Chase ONLY uses the report--and I do mean only. Despite the fact that I have NEVER been late on this card in the two+ years I have had it, they repeatedly denied any assistance. In addition, the first woman told me that the only way they could help was if I had a delinquent account. Thus, I am being punished for being their ideal customer--high balance (my fault), but always paying on time.Last: they lowered my rate without explanation in November to 27 from 28% interest (I think because the Fed lowered the rate?)--then raised it to 29.99% at the end of December. This is the legal limit, and they are unwilling to drop it even a point--even though the Fed has just lowered rates a half-point again.Do not, do not, do not, do not, do not go with Chase. My sister and brother-in-law have had trouble with misapplied fees and issues even though they carry no balance and do not even use their card with Chase. If I could do one thing over in my young life (I am a recent college grad, just 22), it would be to never have touched a Chase Credit Card. (I have three other cards, which I am paying down, too, and none of them charge me over 18%). DO NOT do it.
I Have Always Paid My Credit Card Bill In Full And
I have always paid my credit card bill in full and on time, but during the holidays I was away for two weeks. Chase sent a bill with a due date just two weeks later, so when I got home I paid the bill right away. The bill was due January 1st, but I paid in full on January 4th. They charged a $39 late fee. Most other companies have a grace period and wouldn't charge anything. Then they charged finance charges on top of the late fee. I quickly canceled the card as soon as I saw the finance charges and paid off the balance. They later sent another bill for additional finance charges. They said it was because they accrued daily. The bottom line is that I used this credit card for 4 years without any problems -- I paid no finance charges because I always paid my bills on time. Due to a vacation, I paid one bill late by 3 days. That resulted in nearly $100 in fees -- totally unjustified.
This is standard practice. I had it happen with my bank. They waived the fee, but you still have to pay the interest.
I Used The Card For A Little Over One Year Hoping
I used the card for a little over one year hoping to gain United mileage. The card had had problems since the beginning. First problem: fraudulent charges appeared 3 times for 3 consecutive months, and Chase did not do one thing, from investigating the charges to contacting the other parties who charged me nor blocking them from continuing to apply fraudulent charges to my account. I had to make many many phone calls to finally clear the charges. Second problem: 1 day late due to system failure and got both late fee and finance charge. Frustrated, I called and talked to an account supervisor named April requesting to close the account. The supervisor asked me to wait until finance charge appeared and call back, promised she WOULD remove the charge. I asked if that would be too late to remove the annual membership fee, which had just begun for the upcoming year and she said NO. When I actually called back, I could not get to talk to her but to another staff member, who refused to honor the other supervisor's decision. She even refused to remove the membership fee even though the reason I hung on to the card was to wait for the appearance of the finance charge, and it was not even 60 days (a period for which the fee can still be reimbursed, according to a different agent). She finally lifted the fee after hearing enough of my screaming through the phone.
If you have to use a visa, I recommend you to use a different company.
I Made A 400 Dollar Payment To Early And They Adde
I made a 400 dollar payment to early and they added finance charges and a late charge to my account the next month. When I asked why I had the extra charges they told me I had made my payment late. When they looked back through the records it showed that i had actually made every payment but I had made my november payment to early. So I made 2 november payments!!!! Anyhow to make a long story short. It was all a big misunderstanding!! Yet it took 10 phone calls and 3 reps to explain to me what happen. Now thanks to Chase I have delinquent payment on what used to be perfect credit. Don't pay your bills early, you only get punished for it. Don't go Chase either, customer service is terrible. I am looking for a different card to transfer balances. I don't ever want to have to talk to a Chase rep again.

It's Only Been Two Months Since I Applied For The
It's only been two months since I applied for the Chase bank Perfect credit card, and I'm already hating it. Every representative I talk to about a transaction concern says different things. I check my statement online daily, and whenever an unexpected fee is applied I have called Chase and inquired about it. Every one I talked to has said that they will reverse the amount and change my due date. However, I stress the point to them that this should not have happened in the first place, because when I first open such account I specifically ask questions about payments, and they reassured me that my schedule payments of such date will be fine. Therefore, I should not be charged a late fee. Worst, Chase charge me $39.00, and when they try to credit it back, they credit it with $29.00. What is that? Where did the $10.00 go? I hope they read the reviews and make improvements with their communication with their client so that there is no misunderstanding in the future.
